I had a very positive experience with [redacted] doing some work at my rental house..his customer service was top notch and his quality of work was A plusHe framed and Sheetrocked three rooms and did a lengthy punch list for me and I'd refer him to family and will continue to use

Revdex.com:
At this time, I have not been contacted by [redacted] regarding complaint ID [redacted].
I was contacted by whom I believe was his father (and previous owner) who simply and abruptly asked "what's the...

story?" via a text from the father's cell phone. They did not identify themselves. I replied by summing up what has transpired, that I had filed with the Revdex.com and would be taking further legal steps, giving [redacted] yet another chance at a resolution. However that too was met with a non-response.
Are there any additional steps I can take with the Revdex.com or another organization that may assist? I have also registered a complaint with the Consumer Protect service of [redacted]. But I expect his same non-response to them as well. With $2,000 of my money already cashed by [redacted] on this incomplete job, I need to examine all steps I can to achieve restitution. Thank you.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: September **, 2014To whom it concerns at the Revdex.com,Thank you for taking the time to review our complaint on an ongoing situation between my wife and I and a local/union contractor in the [redacted] area, [redacted].The situation began on May [redacted] with an agreed to $3,700.00 estimate for a 8-10 day timing on painting the exterior of our house, replacing two front and back gutters, and replacing two strips of rotten wood on the exterior trim. The job has been abandoned and left unfinished, as the contractor had originally power washed and sanded only a portion of the house, and the trim work has been left incomplete. The last time [redacted] was at our house on the job dates back to the first week in July.As of today, September [redacted] the house condition remains unchanged. We have made numerous requests via cell, text, and email to [redacted] that he either complete the job and provide receipts for supplies and the materials themselves, or refund the initial payments totaling $2,000.00. He has done neither. He has only responded with unfulfilled promises that he is returning. The job is incomplete and we now receive no replies whatsoever. My wife and I need your help. We had contacted a lawyer who advised us that the time, cost, and inconvenience of bringing [redacted] to small claims court would yield an unfruitful result, in money and frustration. And that he may not even respond to their request. We are hoping the Revdex.com can motivate [redacted] to either (1) refund our $2000.00, (2) provide us with $2,000.00 worth of supplies/materials and the proof of receipts, or (3) complete the job as originally outlined and agreed to. If there are any other additional suggestions the Revdex.com has for us to produce any kind of a positive result, it would be greatly appreciated.[redacted] can be reached via cell at ###-###-#### and via email at [redacted], and his father who previously ran their contracting business can be reached at ###-###-#### if [redacted] cannot be reached.
