Review: Dry cleaning was drop off on October 30 went to pickup on December 11 my husband's pants and shirt and owner was not able to find them. The store front moved from the location to another location in the strip mall. I asked the owner to at least refund the bill for the cleaning and he refused saying " the sign clearly states not responsibly after 15 days". So not only did he lose my clothes but is charging me for the service -- which I feel is ridiculous and down right rude.Desired Settlement: Rufund for cleaning service and now for my husband 's pant and shirt.

Review: After picking up a sweater that I had left for dry cleaning at Anthony's Cleaners in Bloomfield, NJ, I noticed when I took the plastic off the garment that it was badly stained. I called the cleaners and they said to bring the sweater back to them for service. The date that I gave them the sweater was June 7, 2014. The sweater was not ready for pick up until June 24, 2014 and the garment is still stained and not fit for wear. I have tried to reach the owner [redacted] and was unable to speak to him. I paid for the item and left with the sweater. After having the garment 17 days the business appears not to care about customer relations or any future patronizing when they would after 17 days return the item back to me in a condition totally unfit for use.Desired Settlement: This sweater cost $45.00. In today's economy no one has the money to throw away. When a business damages someone's property they should at the very least make a good faith gesture for reimbursement. Anthony's Cleaners only gesture to me was to return an item that they have damaged evidently beyond repair, back to me.

The customer brought in the garment stained.

We did our best to clean it and offered to try a second time. The reason it took so long the second time was he tried lots of different stain cleaners to remove the stain. We do not guarantee that every stain will come out. We do get out most stains but no dry cleaner is 100% sucessful. On 7/24, the customer did speak to the owner [redacted] and demanded money for her sweater. We could not accommodate her since we did not put the stains there. We are sorry she is not happy but customer always expect us to get even the toughest stains out and that is not possible. She says the stains were not there but they were oil stains which we did not put on her garments. We do stand by our product and had this been our fault, we would have paid as we have with other customers in the past.

I am rejecting this response because: When we brought the item in for cleaning there was nothing wrong with it. The stains were made by the cleaning business. It is a shame when a business damages your clothing and does not have the decency to accept responsibility for it. We have been bringing our clothes to this cleaner for years and this is how that respond to a problem that they created. I stand by my complaint.
