Review: A Jacuzzi walk-in tub for seniors was purchased, after the presentation advised this was safe, would cause additional independence, relieve muscle aches, etc. My home was inspected for plumbing and electric capacity, and I was assured everything was perfect. The tub was installed November and we cannot fill the tub with enough hot water (1 foot to short of covering the jets) to use any of these features, though we were assured our new hot water heater was sufficient. Jacuzzi documentation advises a 50 gallon hot water heater, followed by "consult your plumber/installer" which is Anthony Home Improvements, dba 1 Call Bath Solutions. They have come back to my home once to troubleshoot and removed the safety device from the tub which was to prevent me from potentially have too hot of water on. I am diabetic and this was supposed to be a great feature. We have been told "this is not code in PA"... whether it is code or not, this was a safety selling feature of this tub that is now gone, and did not resolve the problem. This product and installation cost almost 15 thousand dollars. This is a lot of money to not be able to use the product. We have attempted to resolve the issue, and they have agreed to resolve, then made no attempt to resolve until I asked for money back and to have the product removed from our home. Our contract also called for 3 safety bars to be installed, which were not.Desired Settlement: They need to refund all monies and remove this product that does not work in our home with our configuration.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: This has not been resolved. [redacted] (Project Manager) came to my home to review, and confessed that both [redacted] (sales) and [redacted] (Independent living consultant) are experienced Sales Person and Master Plumber and were well aware my 50 gallon water tank was not sufficient. [redacted] was to contact me to install an 80 gallon hot water tank at their cost, plus refund 500 dollars. I wanted the tub removed and my money back, as it has not been a pleasant experience working with this company. They have been deceitful and leave me feeling I have not choice but to accept their offer of a larger hot water tank. Problem is, I don't have the larger hot water tank, and have not heard from them on any install. This is not resolved.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: They have not yet installed this 80 gallon tank, which was their recommended resolution. I was happy with my 50 gallon tank which they assured me one year ago would be sufficient for this tub. In troubleshooting this problem of not enough hot water, they removed a safety valve installed for seniors. I expect them to replace this device. [redacted] stated his employees were well aware my 50 gallon electric hot water heater was the problem. They are experts. They should never have sold this tub to us. Can't explain why any one was sent her to troubleshoot and remove anything if they knew what the problem was. This has been stalling for 1 year now. We have been paying finance charges on a tub we cannot use, for one year. We have had the bathroom upside down, brushing our teeth in the kitchen, towels and washcloths in the living room, for one year, waiting for a resolution. They have made arrangements to come install an 80 gallon electric hot water tank this Friday (which I never wanted), the safety valve and a $500 bank check. I have advised [redacted] that all three things must be finalized this Friday. I don't want to wait another year to get this finished. This company has been deceitful from the beginning. I would never choose to use their services again, and will contact Jacuzzi in the near future with the outcome of this. I am a senior citizen who feels taken advantage of. I am assured this is the best thing since sliced bread. Waiting a year to experience this has only made me very angry that we ever made the call to hear about this tub. I would rather they keep their hot water tank and return my daughter's money. Over $14,000 for this tub that just sits. Unbeliveable.

Regards,

Review: acrylic bath tube installed, cut too small, filled in gap with 7/8 wide with caulk, and white caulk is turning brown because they used the wrong double faced tape(butyl). they put in black butyl tape when they should have put in white buytl tape chemical reaction with the black tape and white silicon turns white caulk into brown shade. while installing the tub they dropped the brass lead trap through the ceiling which caused water damage to the first floor bathroom. plumbing work myself (after calling them first) 2 weeks later, after I did the work, they called me , their plumber. I couldn't wait to fix because tenant needed to take showers on the first floor apartment. this all occurred on November 29th 2012. I have been trying to resolve this through costumer care home [redacted] ,they want me to sign off on suing them for damages and repairs before they fix the it and damages to building. they did a very poor job on caulking in seems around the tub and the walls. I have pictures of the damages, letters and emailsDesired Settlement: I want a new tub and walls, with the right butyl tape, installed but by another company that is affiliated with [redacted] subcontracted this job.I want to be reimbursed for plumbing work, sheet rock work and painting.

Review: This company installed a Jacuzzi walk in tube/. The company installed the wrong model. After a period of time, the tube began to leak. We contacted the company to reapir the damage to the floor and cellar. The company sent someone to fix the leak. The damage to the floor and cellar ceiling and wall was not repaired. Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The $1000.00 was to compensate us for installing the wrong model tub. the damage from the water leaking was done weeks after this.. Also we have never signed any document that says we agree to this.
