Our daughter had a car accident (man run her off the road and did not stop) and broke her neck and back on 5/1/19. She has been seeing USA Neurosurgery every month since then. We had no problem until we went back on 9/20/19. She went because she was having weird, different feelings in her right arm and one of her fingers. Dr. *** examined her and said that a MRI was needed. He said it could be a ligament tear or a disc protrusion. He ordered the MRI that day and set up an appointment for 2 weeks which would have been 10/4/19. We never got a call about setting up the appointment for the MRI like the doctor told us we would. I called on 9/26/19 and the nurse said that the paperwork for that takes a while. So we waited another week and still no call. I called on 10/3/19 and she said they were still working on it, she rescheduled the appt. to 10/11/19 (for the follow-up to discuss the MRI). So we waited another week and still call. I called on 10/9/19 and was told that the nurse was in clinics or labs all day. So I called the next day on 10/10/19 and was told the nurse was out that day. REALLY! At this point it seems I'm getting the run-around! Some other nurse called my daughter (not me) and just cancelled her appointment for 10/11/19. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield, because one time the nurse said they need a precertification. *** with BC/BS said that they had not received anything. She called the Dr. office herself and got another nurse and the 3 of us were on the phone at the same time. That nurse said they needed something but not from us or BC/BS. What!'!? Nurse said she would get someone that could help us to call us back. *** was just as confused as I was. They call my daughter (I guess they don't want to talk to me!)and ask for the BC/BS id number (which they already have). I call the number and tell them the number on her voice mail. We wait another week and no call. I call 10/16/19 at 11:10 am and leave another message. Their policy is to call back within 24hrs.Been 24,no call
