This company was fine to take my money and to pretend to be my public adjuster then failed to do their job. They only did half the work of getting my claim resolved from my home fire back in January 2014 and to date the claims are still unresolved. They told me they were working on my case and making calls to my insurance company and there were no results. They didn't handle invoices properly and I was harassed by a trailer company at work for non-payment when this PA firm was supposed to be handling things. They told me they would keep me updated with status updates on my case and failed to do that. I had to constantly reach out to them for weeks every day and they gave me the run around on my case. They did not properly represent me as my PA but were okay taking the fee they charged for services they failed to perform! My kids and I went through so much tragedy and they did not fight for me and do their job. They lied and said they were going to file a complaint with NY state dept. of financial services against my insurance company because my claim was not being addressed but they never did. They are liars and didn't care about me or my children as their client, they took the money up front and then didn't finish the cases and then gave me the run around. Be careful and cautious before hiring them as your public adjuster. I am going to complain to whatever division licenses them and going to try and put them on the news to make others aware of how they practice business. I have all my emails documenting my incomplete case and just bogus responses from them saying they are working on things with no results. I eventually fired them.
I hear your pain, I used this same person and I got the same service. To date case not closed for flood in my house two years ago. Been waiting since June 2016 for return call and visit to my house. I have a contracting problem and as you, no representation. I now have leak in kitchen that was supposed to be done by contractor and Mr. Reitano has failed to represent me. I see by reading your complaint it seems to be the norm for this PA.
Review: This company contracted with me to help publicly adjust my insurance claim relating to Superstorm Sandy. They took $10,000 from me and provided no further assistance in securing any help to settle my claim. I received my initial adjusters settlement which was grossly undervalued. ARG swore they would help to intervene with the insurance carrier and would make them pay the value of the true damage to my home. They have not returned phone calls, offered any written correspondence and refused to supply my file to me upon request. They are complete fraudsDesired Settlement: To refund my money that I gave to them in good faith to provide the service contracted
