Anthony Scavone Contractors

Review: Contracted Scavone Construction for repairs to my property at [redacted], NJ. Initial deposit given to Anthony Scavone on 9/6/13, since that time I have paid Mr. Scavone a total of over $53,000. Repairs called for complete restoration of my downstairs unit (walls, floors, ceilings, insulation, electrical, baths and powder rooms, kitchen) Contract also called for installation of a new HVAC system, new water heater and plumbing repairs. Mr Scavone removed my baseboard heat along with the boiler. To this date Mr. Scavone has insulated the ceilings above the ktchen, 3 bedrooms and half of the main bathroom. Some duct work and vents for the HVAC have been installed, but no heat pump. The crawl space has not been insulated or any sub floors installed as called for in the contract. My unit has been unheated and uninsulated for this entire period. Appliance's (range, refrigerator, washer, dryer) plus furniture have been left in these elements. The water line from the street to the property has frozen and will have to be replaced. Numerous calls to Mr. Scavone asking for reasons for the delays and documentation as to costs for labor and material have gone unanswered. I found 1 invoice for $983.46 for subflooring that was deleivered on 10/3/13 almost a month after original deposit was given. Claims made to me by Mr. Scavone that work had been done proved to be untrue upon personal inspection of my property.Desired Settlement: Refund of my payments, less work and material that was done, if thay can be verified, along with payment done to my property and possesions.
