He informed me after the backsplash was in that he did not do above the backsplash and that I would have to do my selfHe did a great job on the countertop and backsplash but isnt'that the finished part of the job? I decided it was too much for me to do and that I needed him to come and finish the job (after I paid in in full in cash) and I would get the caulkI had another counterman come out and to look at the job and he was shocked to see itHe said caulking is always part of the finishing and he should have NEVER used what I purshased which was wrongBottom line is the backsplash was cut a little short and did not match the tile which had to be caulkedAll I want it is to be fixed correctlyIf it was not the correct product that was bought he should have never used itAnyone with anykind of work ethic should have stood up to his workI can't believe my husband told him to continue to use the inbcorrect material when we did not know it was wrongI have pictures of how he left the job and I can't believe he thought I would have been happy with jobIf a plumber puts in a shower, does he not caulk to finish the job? He did not even bring caluk for this job then day of installationThen he did ruin a spot on my kitchen floor by splilling something in it and in trying to clean it up, took off the vinyl layerI told him he was lucky that I was going to replace my floor and to not worry about that, now after this, this comes upAgain, all I want is my counter corretIf this is not resolved, I have an appointement withn an attorney
