On February 20th, *** ** *** called into our office and spoke with our customer service representative regarding an exchange of product. She was inside our retail location in Grove City and had been denied a refund or exchange of product from the Manager, Shannon. She stated that
the candy was bought for her from her husband and she wanted “ soft candy because of her teeth”The customer service Rep, then spoke with “ Candi “ regarding this issue. Candi spoke directly with the customer and offered an exchange of soft candy out of the showcase. Candi directed the Manager Shannon to give her “ soft candy out of the showcase “. Shannon offered her the candy and asked for her ID for our paperwork. The customer started screaming and was very angry, so Manager Shannon told her she could just fill out the paperwork herself. *** refused to fill out ANY paperwork, so the offer was rescindedCustomer service is very important to us at Anthony-Thomas. We are sorry that we did not satisfy our customer on February 20. We are always looking for ways to improve and work to better train all employees.
