Review: I went online to junk my car with "[redacted]" aka Anthony's Discount Tire & Auto. [redacted] quoted me $300.00 to pick up my junk by the end of the day (2/*/14). I asked him if that would be in cash & he said yes. Later on I rec'd a call from [redacted] that they couldn't make it and rescheduled for 9:30am today (2/*/14). I made 2 calls around 10am & 10:15 but got ans.machine. At 10:30 Ben, their driver called to say he also needed a copy of my drivers license and he was near by. When he got here, I gave him my paperwork & asked him if he had cash for me as [redacted] had promised. [redacted] then asked me if [redacted] had explained how things work. I said NO !! He said, "we only pay 8cents on the dollar, so I can only give you $225.00" "We go by the weight of the car but the title is always wrong. We use 2800 as the correct weight." I told him to call [redacted] but he said he couldn't get him on the phone. He said, [redacted] must have said around $300.00, not exactly. I said that he was mistaken because [redacted] just said $300.00. That's when I confirmed with him that is would be in cash. He said yes to both. I let [redacted] take the car as it would have cost me money for the plates on the vehicle in a few days, but I called [redacted] and left a message on the machine that I would be contacting the Revdex.com. Then I researched their info to complete this required form.Desired Settlement: I would like the rest of the money ($50.00) that was originally promised to me. [redacted] only gave me $250.00. [redacted] promised $300.000 cash.
