Let's examine the response Revdex.com has received from ***, one of the owners of Antique ST\tove Restoration of Dallas: [redacted] - "Good morningWe have sent this client her stove parts months ago."If this is a true statement, then would [redacted] please present his shipping receipt to me, so that he proves his statement that he did indeed ship me my stove parts "months ago".Attached are txt message [redacted] & I exchanged on Nov 19, and on Dec 13, In both of these message [redacted] concedes he has not found my oven racks [redacted] doesn't say a word about how he's shipped me any oven racks These are the last communication I had with [redacted] until Jan 10, when, exasperated that absolutely nothing was being done to communicate with me, I went to ***'s FB page to update my negative review, and state publicly that I still had not received my equipment back from [redacted] [redacted] - "We will send another set via certified mail and obtain a signature."Why send "another" set? Why not call up the shipping company and inquire what has happened to the first shipment? [redacted] - "We attempted to contact this client on fb privet message in order to resolve this but not only did we not get a response but we also got blocked but that is ok as long as we resolve this."Why did [redacted] try to contact me via FB "privet" message? Once [redacted] blocked me on FB, he couldn't not send me any messages or communicate with me via FB, so why didn't he send me a txt message, like he did on Nov 19, and Dec 13, - see attached txt message exchanges between me (Kelley Smoot) and [redacted] .Also attached are the FB posts showing where [redacted] was the one who blocked me from FaceBook for daring to point out his inability to return my equipment in full, despite the fact I paid [redacted] in Full - $7,400+ - but did not get all my equipment returned to me.I've attached the following screen captures showing that [redacted] had FaceBook punish me for daring to speak the truth on Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas' FB pageJan 10, - 1st note - Note from FB to [redacted] - We Removed Something You PostedJan 10, - 2nd note - Note from FB to [redacted] - We Removed Something You PostedJan 12, - 3rd note - Note from FB to [redacted] - We Removed Something You PostedJan 15, - 4th note - Note from FB to [redacted] - We Removed Something You PostedJan - 5th note - FB now bans [redacted] for days for posting "things that aren't allowed on FaceBook"Jan 17, - 6th note - FB now bans [redacted] for days and hours more for posting "things that aren't allowed on FaceBook"Once [redacted] manipuated FaceBook into banning me from FB for supposedly violating "community standards" [redacted] could no longer use FB to communicate with me, so why didn't he try to txt message me? Or phone -- AND LEAVE A MESSAGE He did try to phone on Sunday Jan 10, at about 4pm but I refused to answer the phone He did not leave a message[redacted] - "We would also like the client to remove all derogatory coments she has made on our face book page and please stop sending our other clients messages about this issue."Why should I remove truthful statements about the deplorable customer service I received from Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas -- ever Even if [redacted] resolves my issue why should I be forced to remove the "derogatory" comments that [redacted] has not been able to manipulate FaceBook to remove for him? [redacted] - "We asked her to stop and she stated that she would but only if we gave her $I have a copy of this."This is a lie Please read all the attached FB posts that [redacted] got FB to already remove -- they are already gone off Antique Stove Restoration's FB page In all of them I clearly stated that I wanted $1,refunded from the $7,400+ I had already paid for the annoyance of having paid full price for a job that was incompletely done -- and this has been going on since June 15, -- with NO RESOLUTION from [redacted] or Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas If [redacted] has a copy where I said I would remove my posts for $1,tell him to put his money where his mouth is and show us his "proof." I will not be forthcoming because it doesn't exist I never said anything like what [redacted] has twisted my words to supposedly mean[redacted] - "At this point I would just like to get her more parts and be finished with thisI hope we can come to an agreementThank you-***"Yes [redacted] - that's exactly what I want -- my parts -- that should have been returned to me months ago -- and to be done with you I will not remove any of my comments from FB or anywhere else Even if [redacted] returns my oven racks to me, I will never remove comments that show he and [redacted] and Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas do not conduct business honestly or fairly If my negative reviews are removed, who will warn the next unsuspecting customer who trusts [redacted] & [redacted] to do honest work?

We would like to set up a date to have the customer come see the stove and aprove it for deliveryWe can be available Tuesday august 18th or on the 19th if it is betterWe are available from 9-both daysPlease confirm date and timeThank you***

This client had a 1960s commercial wolf stove valued at approximately 15,dollarsBoth ovens were non operational, the suspension assembly on the left oven was missing and the two far left burners were closed almost completely and not lighting wellThe parts on this stove are no longer
available and have been no longer available for the past 50+ yearsI evaluated the stove and gave an estimate of $and the client accepted the estimateThe description of the repair is as follows: rebuilding of the actuation portion of the safety valves $eachThere are twoReworking of the pilot assemblys $eachReworking and chemical treatment inc high temp paint of burners casted together$for both Inc valve regulationReplacement of missing cams, hinges, pins, springs, hooks and catches on left front door including labor $I am also installing a door lock assembly to the left oven due to damage to the oven door done by use without the parts that it neededI also helped take apart the grill which is extremely heavy and reworked three front burners which were clogod and unregulatedThe pilots were also clogedI spent an extra to hours there helping them clean the stove at no additional cost just because I could tell they were just getting startedI got a text in the middle of the night telling me the stove was smoking and had cought fireI went to the location to find there was a section of grease which had cought fireI instructed the client to clean that section further and to remove the greaseShe processed to insult me and tell me to go clean itI told her "mam" I am not a cleaning guy I am a technicianI helped yall clean just to help yall out but do not owe you a cleaningShe proceed to tell me that I had charged her too much and should do moreI explained that her product was an antique stove and most parts were not available and very difficult to findI explained that I reworked and rebuilt all of the components which were brought up in the initial complaint manually and was a skill tought to me by my grandfather which is a specialized skill and not commonly doneThis is why we are the only ones who still work on the antique stoves left in North texasShe told me she didn't care about my skill or explanationI take a lot of pride in my work and will not take this kind of abuseThe agreement was made and the product was fixedThere is still a door lock which I have to instal leftI have the part and have no problem installing itI had made an apointmet for this Sunday to instal but at this point would like to go threw the Revdex.com and make sure this will finalize our business as agreedI also have all the text messages to prove our arrangements and the situation

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10730945, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
We are typically unavailable during the work week to visit the business for approval of the restoration of our stoveWe are available on Saturday 8/at anytime & any evening after 6:00pmWe also are available this coming Tuesday 8/during business hours, if that day & time is appropriate
Regards,
*** ***

I have a copy of invoice that Mr *** emailed me and it doesn't mentioned any of the work he describedWe had another professional that came in and assessed what was done, and all Mr *** did was turn on the gas connection to the oven, cleaned one burner and vacuum dust from inside the stoveHe claimed he spent to hours extra to help us, he only stuck around on his phone the entire time, after he helped us to lift the top off the 'hot top' that my husband and I cleanedMr *** hung around because he was feeling guilty about over charging us and by then, I was expressing concerns as to the amount, especially when it became obvious what he did and didn't doYes, we have all the correspondence proving all the lies that he told us from day one and all the fight and agony to have him show up when he said he woulddays in a row we showed up waiting for him and he was a no showHe's being inconsistent, he lies and took advantage of usMoreover, the stove is not considered antique, so what he's saying doesn't make senseWe need a refundIt's been over a month since he was supposed to complete the jobWe've been opened for business and not able to used the oven we paid $1,to fixIt's ludacris!

I have reviewed the invoice and I did in fact fail to state the door repair done. Although I took pictures and showed the client the components I provided and the client is well aware of the parts I instaled I can not prove it as it was very late and I was very tired and did not include this in the invoice so I guess the get these parts for free and that portion of the service as well. I will be refunding $450 of this to the client via check and we can consider this matter closed. On another note. There are no other qualified professionals left in texas who still work on this product. This is a fact. We take a lot of pride in our work and do not apreceate our workmanship and trade being trashed by this client. She has insulted me in many by text and I have all this data. Any further dispute will be taken up in small claims court. This is very unfair and I will not be take advantage of further. This is what we can do. Good afternoon

Our company did deliver and instal the stove. The customer (the husband) said it looked great and tested it out. The unit was tested with a wand and no leaks detected. Later that day the husband called very upset saying his wife did not like it. We returned immediate and picked up the stove. We...

found a hair like fracture in a valve which wasn't there. Could have been caused in transport. We are changing the requested panals and tops. We are working on replacing the valve and will need the client to come look at the unit at our shop to insure satisfaction  as the unit weighs almost 1000 pounds. We are working hard to resolve this. Thank you. Rick

Good morning. We have sent this client her stove parts months ago. We will send another set via certified mail and obtain a signature. We attempted to contact this client on fb privet message in order to resolve this but not only did we not get a response but we also got blocked but that is ok as...

long as we resolve this. We would also like the client to remove all derogatory coments she has made on our face book page and please stop sending our other clients messages about this issue. We asked her to stop and she stated that she would but only if we gave her $1000. I have a copy of this. At this point I would just like to get her more parts and be finished with this. I hope we can come to an agreement. Thank you. -[redacted]

We would like to set up a date to have the customer come see the stove and aprove it for delivery. We can be available Tuesday august 18th 2015 or on the 19th if it is better. We are available  from 9-4 both days. Please confirm date and time. Thank you. [redacted]

We would really like to resolve this. I have looked for the shipping recipe but have not found the record unfortunately. All we can do is ship another set and obtain a copy. I do not think it is unreasonable to as that the haraising messages on fb be removed and for us to all move forward. We worked very hard on the stove and even had to go to another state to obtain certain parts but that's just what we do. Let's just resolve this and move forward please. Thank you. [redacted]-

We are happy to meet with the consumers on Tuesday, 8/25. Please have them call us ahead with the time they plan to come by so we can make sure we are there.

In order to resolve this issue my property that I own -- 2 oven racks and 1 heavy-duty white enamel broiler rack -- will have to be returned to me.   If Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas has lost or otherwise disposed of my parts, then it's up to Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas to locate identical replacements and give them to me at no additional cost to me, because I didn't "lose" the parts in the first place - they have.As of 2:30pm on Feb 2, 2016, I have not received my oven & broiler racks, which have been held by Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas since June 15, 2015 - although Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas has collected Payment in Full - over $7,400+ for their work.  Until I receive my property -- oven equipment that belongs to me -- from Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas, this matter will remain open and not resolved.  The parts that Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas returns to me must be either:1) the very same parts I gave them in Jan 15, 2015 when Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas removed the parts from my house (against my comments made to the owner on Jan 15, 2015. I questioned why Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas was taking parts that I was afraid would get lost, and these parts were not necessary for Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas to restore the stove);  OR 2) must be from an equivalent 1950 Estate Stove that exactly matches my stove.  If Antique Stove Restoration of Dallas has to go out-of-state to locate parts they have effectively stolen from me, that's their problem, not mine.
