The van in question was used for a bridal shower the weekend before the rental. Both back seats were removed from the van. When the van came back from that rental, it was cleaned with the rear seats OUT before they were re-installed. As such there were definitely no beer cans in...
the vehicle. Cigarette butts in a crevice perhaps, but the van was reasonably clean. We rent USED vehicles. The name "Cheap Auto Rental" is purposely meant to convey this fact. As such the van may have some stains, a crack in the plastic bumper, etc. . We are not [redacted], etc. and we do not pretend to be and we do not charge their prices. The van did not break down. The van was apparently suitable for their purpose of basic transportation. All that they were charged was the weekly rate, the collision coverage, and the taxes. As such I feel that no credit is due to them.
