My name is *** ***I have been a hairstylist at Antoine's Le Jour Spa & Salon for 1/yearsIt is my top priority to make each client happy and retain themOn Friday May 29, *** *** came in to get color and cut/fininsh*** showed me a picture of
how she would like her hair*** said she had been box coloring her hair at home so I explained to her that I would not be able to get the color she wants in one step without damaging her hairI suggested to *** that I color her roots and add highlights to get the overall look to appear lighterI showed *** the length I would be taking off her bangs and she agreedShe also agreed to the length I would be taking off of her layers and lengthBefore I got started I told *** it will be $for the haircut, $for the root touch up (base color) and around $for the partial highlight and $for the toner*** agreed to the price of the services before I beganI left *** color and highlight on for as long as I could and let her know that the highlights did not lift as much as we had hoped for due to the previous color coating on her hair As I had her at the shampoo bowl I consulted with another stylist for a couple of minutes which is a very common practice for stylist to do when we have difficulty with a clients hairI then applied a toner and she sat for minutes while the toner processedI explained to *** that at her next visit we can re-lighten her highlights and keep going lighterI asked *** if she liked everything and she said yes I did not get the feeling that she was unhappyI walked her up to the front desk and she was cashed outThe next night *** left a message on Antoine's facebook as to how terrible everything was for her visitMy boss (***) quickly responded to the message apologizing and asking permission to contact her via phone*** then spoke with *** and asked for her to come in and we would be happy to fix what she did not like and also refund her for the haircut if she felt we could not fix it. My name is *** and I was working the evening that *** came in to get her hair doneShe was only booked for touch up color and a cut/fininsh*** brought me *** ticket and told me that she consulted with *** and they were going to be adding a partial highlight and toner to the original appointmentThe ticket said touchup color $45, Pthighlight $65, cut/finish $and toner $I asked *** at that time if *** was aware of these prices and she told me yesWhen *** came up to pay I asked her "How was everything this evening" She told me everything was good and that she wanted to add a $gratuity on her credit cardThe next evening as *** said, she wrote a very disturbing message to our facebookI told her that it was my concern to make her happy and when would be a good time that I could call her to discuss the situationShe told me I could call Monday or Wednesday after 4:I called her on Monday around 5:She was very upset and was demanding all of her money backI told her that we guarantee all of our color services and would like her to come back in so that we could make thing right by herI also offered to fix the haircut that she was unhappy with and she said she felt it could not be fixedI explained to her that color can always be fixedSince she felt there was no way to fix the haircut I told her I would be happy to refund her money for the cut and the gratuity but she was insistent on a full refundI asked her why she she did not tell me that night when I asked her how everything was that she was unhappyShe told me that I asked her if she liked it and her response was "no" and that I ignored that and asked her to payI was very offended by thatWe strive to make every client happy! I would never, ever, ever! ignore a client who told me they did not like there hairI would still like *** to come back in so that we may make the necessary adjustments to her color If *** feels her cut is that awful and cannot be fixed I am happy to give her the full $refund +the $gratuity.Sincerely, *** *** (stylist)*** *** (owner)

I am sorry that *** feels so terribly about our place and is not happy with our offer We are a professional salon in business since Our staff is well trained and and works very hard to achieve desired results for our clientsWhen a client colors there own hair at home it is impossible to know what sort of build up you are dealing withUsually we charge much more as we consider this corrective color*** did a thorough consultation and *** was fully aware of the price before the service was startedI am happy to refund the $for the haircut and gratuity since she feels it can not be fixedWe are more than happy to make necessary adjustments to the colorWe certainly are not a scam We are an honest business, doing our best to make our clients happyIt is unreasonable to think anyone should work for 1/hours and not be paid

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear I was never told my *** about the "touch-up" priceI even told her "so it'll be around $120" and she said "yes"*** also told me that my highlights would be a light brown color and they're the same dark red color I've been dying my hair by myself for the past yearThe whole point of me going to this place was because I don't know how to lighten my hair by myself, and this place didn't lighten it what so everIf I would've known they didn't know how to they should've told me so I could've gone somewhere elseBut obviously this place is a scam not telling customers the real price or doing what they came in there forI will take the $refund, but I would like my full refund back for a service I didn't want and was told a lesser price from the startI can't believe that anyone would think that after how horribly I've been treated from this place from both *** and *** and how awful my hair looks now, that anyone could honestly suggest going back to this place and trusting them to "fix it".
