Review: On April **, 2015, I was promised a Buy Back program check in the amount of $198 by Sony customer support for a defective CD player, which was still under warranty. When I did not receive the check within 6 weeks as promised, I contacted customer support again. I was told that yes, it appears a check should have been sent but wasn't and that they would see that the check was sent. This was June **, 2015. On July *, 2015, I received a voice message from Sony customer support saying that the check got "messed up" and they would be sending another check within 4-6 weeks. Well, it's now September *, 2015...almost 6 months since this buy back program check was supposedly on its way, and it's not here yet. All I want is my refund check for $198 which was promised starting back in April. The Case Number with Sony is [redacted].Desired Settlement: To receive my refund check in the amount of $198.
