Antonio's Pizza & Spaghetti Reviews (3)

For the record, Every Sports Program in America has misinformed, misguided and unreasonable parents that agree to things upfront before they start, then when playtime or dissatisfaction with team results take place, they chose to attack, slander and defame the good character of others or the
organizations that are put together for the benefit of others. We had ours, now we don't - someone else does....Her facts are wrong, up and down the lineGlad we have this forum to share our side...1) Told the
$startup fee covered the cost of the uniform, bat bag, helmet, etc.Response - The $stafee cover the cost of acquiring a uniform, bat bag and helmet, socks, practice t'svisor and sweatshirt for the players use as long as they stay in the program, and the prorated share of the players entry into tournaments, practice facilities, coaches, lights, etcAll items were delivered except for the bat bag - I agreed and will provide her the cost not being able to use one of $30, once the remaining gear is returned.Commentary - We are a 501cnot for profit organization that has filed a return for every year since - we have never had a complaint from any person or agency to the Revdex.com or otherwiseNot for profits don't make a profit, they buy and retain assets for use of members of their clubJust as her daughter plays High School ball and pays a fee for that, they retain the equipment the player uses every year to provide to anotherI hope she make the same argument to them after they ask her to pay money and take it all back when she's through, as she has with us.2) Now that she has left the team, Paul is
demanding we return the uniform - and will not refund us - even though we
purchased the gear AND never even received everything we paid for. Response - See above response3) The Organization ran a fundraiser and in emails stated we would receive 60% of the raised
money back in cashHowever, months later we still haven't received itHe
claimed that our money was "stolen" and the bank froze his business
accountHe has been saying this for the last months. Response - aWe offered a fundraiser where a estimated percentage would be offered back to help offset travel costs by parents - The estimate (based on the people running the fundraisers' best possible outcome) was 60%It ended up, after all expenses (admin fees to run the event, prizes, merchants fees etc.) being 51%, which was paid to everyone that participatedThose that left the organization are required to return the gear (see above) and they have and will be refunded 51% of what they raised - In this persons case $331.50, when we get all the gear backbWe had fraud on our debit card and merchants shipped product to someone in new yorkWe disputed the charge and the merchants fought the dispute - Fact - the fraud happened June - we responded by the end of June - it has been less then months (not the lie of or as she has stated) and we now have access to some of the funds which we distributed. She will get her portion when we get the gear back!4) He states he can take
our money and demand that his "assets" be returned to him - even
though he never advised us we were "renting" uniforms for $He is
consistently advertising information as to what our money is paying for - Response - the Team Agreement she signed said the gear belongs to the clubWe charge fees based on when the player comes into the program and events they play in, coach expense reimbursement, practice fields, practice lights, etcAlso, in the contract, it clearly states that any money RECEIVED by the club is retained by the club if you leave for whatever reason! because we committed to pay a partial amount back from a fundraiser, we will and have honored that, but anyone leaving the organization needs to return gearAgain, non profits don't make a profit they retain assetsthe gear are assetsstartup fees cover the cost of playing in events, training (and everything stated above) which she participated in, and providing a uniform and gear to play in. 5) saying we will play tournaments, charges for those tournaments - then we don't play the tournaments and our money is never refunded.Response - that team played in the most sought after difficult softball events to get into in the summer, including a Nationals in Reno - Don't know what I could have done more then that - Again Playtime and poor showing on the DD's part, parent upset and does not want to take accountability for it, just blame, defame, slander and accuse others, then seek to coerce and extort charitable organizations/youth sports programs, so they don't have to pay anything, but gain major benefit, playtime training etcon the backs and pocketbooks of other parents and players who pay and gain $200k in athletic scholarships... She signed the standard Team Agreement (an agreement that everyone in the club has access to and agrees to by trying out for the team)- it was clearly stated that at the end of the season the gear is to be returned unless advised otherwiseshe left the program and we advised her to return the gear. if not the cost of replacement states $350, where she initialed "you acknowledged that amount"
5) She wants the full 60% reimbursement of the funds we raised and the full $back for
the uniform we will be returningTotaling approximately $700. Response - So what we have is a disgruntled parent that shamefully wants to play for free and have others pay the benefits her daughter received in playtime training and college exposureShe is using the Revdex.com public forum to try and extort the organization to reimburse her for everything she paid in, Plus- Other coaches and programs in the future, beware!6) His
"non-profit" organization (# 77-0421198) also needs to be looked
into.Response - our tax return for the past years is available for review online, we have audited books each year and run a clean program that has helped over plus players get scholarships to play softball in collegeThere are just some players that we cant help and parents that need to take up tennis.Dispute resolution - I agree to pay this woman $for her fundraising effort (51% of what she raised) - credit for not providing a bat bag $(cost of the bag) and nothing more - So $This is only contingent on her returning all the gear we have given herNo gear no refund

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:The gear was returned two weeks ago. We deserve the refund for the gearThe only reason you are saying you dont have to refund us for thwgear is because of a contract you say we signedYet you refuse to provide a copy with our signature How is it fair to reimburse every family for the gear except for ours? Not only is it discrimination, but it is also a shame you are taking advantage of a family who trusted youA family who is only trying to get back the money they paid for services not rendered and gear that was demanded to be returnedA family who is trying to better their daughter's life by helping her earn a scholarshipIt's quite sad actually that it came to this and that you refuse to do the right thing

Now that I have an understanding about how this Revdex.com thing works, I appreciated the professional manner in which they try to resolve disputes between parties.Regardless of the personal attacks on me, I'll avoid sharing what I think of you, and just leave you in the hands of others, I agree to pay:$for her fundraising effort (51% of what she raised, and what every other person who participated received),Credit for not providing a bat bag $(cost of the bag), Credit for not getting pants of $(cost of the pants). She had full use of everything else.So $I will make it an even $ This is only contingent on her returning all the gear we have given herNo gear no refund....To date, I have not had any conformation of returned gear from her....P***
