Non repairs and the results of non repairs have resulted into more problems
The problem started in July when I called the maintenance hotline at the oaks at Edgemont about a leak into he ceiling they informed me to tell the couple staying above me not use their bathroom and the maintenance guy to me that he couldn't fix it till Monday Monday came and went and he didn't come out till Wednesday but nothing was done so informed the property manger and she told me that they had put in an order to have the repairs done , but no on came to do the repairs do to these non repairs water is coming down the backside of the wall in the bathroom its leaking in the kitchen I've had to go buy materials to kill insects to cover up the whole in the ceiling of the restroom things to unclog the pipes , also me and my children have had to take showers at my parents homesand to wash our faces and brush our teethI've called on numerous occasions to see what could be done and I've left message

I moved from xxxxx Ohio May 22, with two small children & years of ageI found this property on line came to xxxxx to vist the property and thought it would and okay started for me and my childrenThe lady in the office explain that there are no drug issues or crime here it was well kept property and had no problems here that my children and I would be safeSince moving her my apartment was not ready so I moved in and had no working refrigerator for two weeksMy back bedroom ceiling is falling in where my children sleepMy air does not work properly so my light bill ranges from $200-$a monthThe outside of the building is needles from drug users on the steps we walk up to enter my apartmentMarijuana on the steps and residents smoking it on the stepsNot to mention I watched a child get shot and killed weeks into being here in this apartmentNow a child has hung herself in the apartments across from meMy children are not safe to live here or play outsideI pa

pipes leaking, water damage, office wont fix it, health & safety concerns, mold, free standing water in bathrm & hall, black walls ini bathroom
the pipes leak in my bathroom & the linoleum is in free standing water & leaks into the hallway feet, the wall behind commode is black, as well as the baseboards & area around the tub.theres a large place on the ceiling above the tub that the paint is coming off but im afraid of lead paint.im also afraid that the upstairs tub will come crashing down on meim years old & my health & safety are at riski reported it months ago & they wont fix itothers on google reviews have same complaintsmaintenance men & electrician to unitsnothing gets fixedthere are bedbugs & AC doesnt work in many units, complaints of lead paint, holes in doors & walls, noise, drug activity, nothing gets resolved

The Oaks manager is extremely rude and unapproachable.They take forever to repair any problemConsistently lies to protect reports of her behavior
From the beginning of the 12-molease which started on May 27th of 2017, the Oaks aptmanager has consistently lied about the conditions of my unit before moving in which started us off on not so good termsI had to clean up my unit from roaches being painted over and filthiness of my unit on move in day for which I have maintained pictures
Rats would run rampant by the dumpsters because she wasn't getting the dumpster emptied and never notified residence there was no money to pay for trash collection although it's what I pay for in my rentI also pay for extermination for which she said was being done that was not being doneI in effect was paying for services that were never renderedExtermination was done occasionally, because I kept complaining about the roach lady they allowed to live there spreading roaches throughout the b
