I would like to say first of all, Yes I apologize for the poor management involved in this projectI sincerely do apologize and acknowledge that my Production Manager had failed your expectationsWith that I am going to offer you the 10% refund to you for your inconvenience. With that being said, I would like to clear up a couple misunderstanding regarding your Statement provided for this complaint.
1) No written proposal for project was received as promised....I have attached a copy for you2) Lack of communication between general and sub-contractor.....Yes there was some lack of communication that I agree to but we ultimately scheduled the work, the subs may have contacted you for verification of start days, times, working hours, etc.
3) Conflicting information provided to homeowner timeline and road restrictions...We signed a contract on March 14th and Road Restrictions were lifted April 15th and we started work the following weekDon't know what is conflicting.
4) Multiple quality problems...All work has passed inspections5) Concrete cracked within weeks after install....please see concrete warranty attachedA crack is not considered warrant-able until it has reached 1/4" in width or heightHairline cracks are not a warranty issueAlthough, we will repair if we can.
6) Incorrect building permit obtained....Correct building permit was obtained for initial scope of work, scope of work was changed during the process and was overlooked to change permit.
I will offer a 10% refund if complaint is closed and homeowner agrees to not review on any other website

Antonsen re-roofed our houseIt charged the insurance company for work it didn't do, promised a discount it never gave and left nails and tar paper scraps all over the yard

Antonsen Construction was great to work with! I was in the process of selling my house and needed to have the roof replaced before doing so due to storm damage They quickly worked with my insurance company to come to an agreed scope of work I was pressed for time due to the upcoming house closing date, but Antonsen Construction came thru and completed my roof within days of meeting my insurance adjuster onsite The roof looks great, and both buyers and sellers are very satisfied! I would recommend Antonsen Construction!

we were very pleased with the work done. They were on time,covered the areas so the dust was contained.They said one week to finished the job and it was exactly one week when they finished.Beautiful work.

Antonsen Construction quality, customer service, and project management are extremely poor. I would not recommend them to anyone in the community.
In my experience replacing my 10 windows and 3 exterior doors, a job that was promised to take 2-3 days depending on weather, took over 5 weeks. During my contractor interview process Antonsen came in the mid-range for price and offered a replacement window package I wanted.
When it came time for installation, the windows I received were for new construction. I wasn't notified until after they were having trouble installing. The incorrect windows made new challenges that they didn't know how to fix. Its obvious that the windows are not centered in rough frame, and have different exposures. Their carpenters did not know how to correctly install the extension jambs, meaning they had to hire a sub-contractor who gave even worse craftsmanship. This poor installation quality is evident in the jambs not being straight and do not have the same exposures. "Waves" are evident on the same piece of wood.
The exterior of the windows ended up being a different than agreed on trim that was not installed flat. A problem caused by installing the incorrect windows. When the new trim was installed we discussed adding a relief datto so the trim would sit flat, then on installation they did not do the agreed on and said that what I have is the best they can do.
Next, the doors. On the very first day, they came out and said they would get the first 2 doors complete. They managed to do one - incorrectly. I did not know at the time but the crew was a simgle person who had never installed either windows or prehung doors, so the project manager (a non approved installed) installed the door incorrectly without a sill plate. When I called after I inspected the work of day one they said that might be the best they can do but will have another person check. Day two was removing that door and installing it correct, after they did some damage to it. My Third door looks to be held in mostly with spray foam and still doesn't quite shut perfectly. At that point I needed them gone, I even finished spray foaming the windows just so they didn't come back.
I asked Bob, the owner, to meet and he failed to show. I ended up meeting with the same sales person and the window measuring person who placed the order. I was very disappointed in Bob's character since this has his name on it.
The last part was the final city inspection. A few weeks after paying for this the project manager called to say they forgot to have the city perform an inspection and that they would schedule one in the coming weeks. Weeks passed and no inspection. Last week I called the city and confirmed the project was still open. I scheduled my own inspection to complete the project. This after I paid for a project manager.
There are more details and small issues, but what stands out to me was the lack of care and quality. I wanted a local contractor to help support the community while getting a fair price (again they were not the cheapest) and they missed the mark. I cannot recommend them.

I am rejecting this response because:Yes it its leaking around these items but had the work been executed properly and the seals made around the items extending through the roof there would be no leaking. A three year old roof should have the roof warranty honored.

I highly recommend Antonsen Construction! This summer my sump pump failed, my basement was flooded. The crew at Antonsen showed up as promised and took care of everything right on schedule. They kept me informed as things were being repaired. No surprises. My basement looks great!

Our estimate to the insurance company was to replace the chimney. Admittedly, my masonry subcontractor repaired the chimney instead of replacing it. Mr. [redacted] was offered for us to come back and replace the chimney at no charge and...

complete all the remainder of work and was unwilling to accept resolution. Mr. [redacted] and I did come to price agreeable for work completed and was refunded monies. Since we do have a documented resolution and refunds were made I would ask that complaint be removed.

Fantastic customer service. Great at communicating. Followed up to nearly every day with the status.
