I understand your concerns with the service provided and I apologize for any misunderstandingI would like the opportunity to clarify what you were told and what was written on your service work orderOur technician found a leak in your coil which he suggested needed replacedHe also noticed
your air cleaner needed cleanedWhen a replacement is suggested to your Home Warranty Company, our technicians always give the option to purchase our equipment insteadTherefore, you have the choice to take the equipment the home warranty provides or purchase of our equipmentAnd to explain the condenser under your deck, this is recommended by the manufacturer, not necessarily a code issueWe HIGHLY recommend you have at least feet because the condensing units need ventilationIf another company told you different, then that is their opinion and they are entitled to itAt no time did we want you to feel pressured into purchasing something you do not want, we simply do follow up calls on all customers needing replacementsAnd the Home Warranty Company also needed to know your decision with replacing your air conditioning system

We were originally called to service the heat pump in January due to the unit icing up and our last visit was in November 2016. The heat pump was installed by another company, not us. Any labor warranty would go thru them It is unfortunate to have problems with your unit but
we cannot take responsibility for another company’s installation. The few parts we replaced over the past year, we did install those as per the manufacturer’s warranty, but the labor is not covered by the manufacturer. We are unaware of any issue with the heat pump since our last visit in NovemberBut we would be more than willing to send a senior tech out, if there is an issue with the unit again, at no charge for the service call. We cannot guarantee that there would not be a labor charge for a part replacement and/or unit needing replaced. Call our office and we will get you scheduled as soon as possible

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The $600.00 we were charged consisted of updating two outlets,which took them all of 15 min- I timed it. ;them running back and forth ,disorganized; them agonizing on how to install two simple bulb lights;them telling us what they CAN'T do, but telling me I have to rip up the attic for them to install an outlet in the bathroom.  We thought they would come back and finish the job for the remaining $275.00 as agreed. NO- they changed the agreement. They now want over $600.00 more to finish the job- on top of the $600.00 we paid. That changes the agreement from $875.00 to over $1,200.00, with me having to do part of their job[ ripping up the attic].We repeatedly tried to contact this co. with our concerns, but was repeatedly ignored until Revdex.com and [redacted] got involved. Now they offer us this insulting offer.

Please accept our apologies for the incorrect quote on the prices given to you.  We will honor those prices given to you.  Service call $135 + $100 (1 lb R22) = $235  (less $30 coupon) = $205.  Upon receipt of the complaint made to Revdex.com, we pulled your original check from being...

deposited. If you would like we can mail your voided check back to you.  But, we would need the payment of $205. Please contact us our Office Manager at [redacted] to discuss how you would like to proceed. Again, we apologize for the incorrect quote given to you.

.As the invoice states, more work was done than just updating two outlets. There was new line run from the attic & from the basement to those outlets. I believe that would be a cause for running back & forth. Unfortunately, our electricians are not carpenters and I wouldn’t want them to ruin your floor/ceiling just to make access for electrical lines if that is what is needed. I apologize for the lack of communication in explaining the charges –vs- the work performed. It is apparent that we have not completed this work to your satisfaction and you are not satisfied with amount charged, therefore, we will refund you the $300 you have requested.You have mentioned getting [redacted] involved. If you have disputed the credit card transaction with your credit card company, this will delay the refunding of the $300. Please advise us of your intentions with the original credit card transaction.

We have apologized directly for our scheduling error and provided service on Saturday at no charge.  We have as far as we know resolved this complaint with the home owner directly.  If there is anything else needed, we would be more than happy to work it out.
