I called my insurance provider, ***, who paid the billing I'm responsible for a $co-pay, which I paid on date of visit I received an additional invoice from Vitalogy for another $co-pay for pathology work [redacted] informed me that Vitalogy billed the insurance company as if two separate visits occurred, when, in fact it was only visit That is the reason [redacted] did not pay the additional $ It is my understanding that [redacted] has a normal/customary fee schedule that they pay for similar services ***, essentially, said that Vitalogy is trying to get an extra $above/beyond the customary insurance pay-out by billing me as if a separate office visit took place, and hence an additional $co-pay

This was a bill for treatment of skin cancer for my husbandWe made payment arrangement, made payments then I called to payoffI was told there was a zero balance, I called again and was told there was a zero balanceI requested that the account be noted as I knew there was a balance and did not want a non-payment on my credit There was nothing addressed to my husband for several months, a couple of what I figured were advertisements addressed to me arrived.I was not receiving any treatment and not interested in their services so I just threw them away I have now found out that they changed the billing to me as the responsible party for my husband's treatment, they were sending bills, and they have now placed the account in collectionsThere are collections showing on both of our credit reports and meanwhile we have been directly paying Vitalogy We have now also been informed that they will not remove this fraudulent collection from our credit Their billing system

I incurred medical debt for skin cancer removal I was paying $each month for several months In September, I inadvertently forgot to pay I assume I forgot due to stress associated with an accident I had on 9/ I am a responsible person and I pay my bills I received a letter from Vitalogy dated 9/26/stating if I did not contact them within days, they would refer my account to collections I was a little confused, but I dismissed it & called the day I received the letter (10/2) & made a payment for $ Then, I received a letter dated 10/from a collection agency I called Vitalogy the day I received the collection letter This is when I discovered the September payment issue I asked them to recall my account from collections They advised they are unable to recall it because I missed September That same day, I emailed Vitalogy billing @ [email protected] (listed on their website), in hopes that someone else would review my request & r
