Didn't know anything about a refundSpoke with customer after wedding and she was satisfied

I am rejecting this response because: Per the email chain attached including DJ *** response, he isvery aware of our dissatisfaction with his partial service.

I am rejecting this response because: Not only has the business breached our agreement, Any Events DJ and More have just got caught in another lie when claiming they were not aware of my dissatisfaction from their lack of servicesJust because their insurance does not cover their faults does not mean the business cannot compensateOnly a professional business would know this.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.Any Event is correct that the full invoice amount was $ However, that was for both a DJ and Photo Booth The $paid was a deposit to reserve the date with the remaining amount due on the day of service PRIOR to booking the service, Any Event told me that they had done several events for Plano ISDAfter receiving this information, I contacted the School to confirm whether Any Event was on the District's Approved Vendor List - which they were not I then contacted Any Event on 4/2/to advise that they ARE NOT on the school district's approved vendor list and a background check and fingerprinting would be required The cost for the fingerprinting is $ The School District does not charge the vendor for the background check The Background Check packet was sent to Any Event via email on 4/ On 4/6, I sent a text message asking him to confirm receipt of the packet He stated he would check later that day - he was at a trade show On 4/@ 9:AM, I sent another follemail requesting Any Event to confirm receipt of the packet Any Event responded on 4/@ 10:AM stating they had not received the packet in their email and asked for me to resend, which I resent at 11:AM - and he confirmed receipt After confirming receipt, on the same day (4/11) I asked Any Event to let me know once the packet is complete so that I could provide an update to our planning committee - No response to that request On 4/20, I sent a text to follon status - No Response On 4/- I sent another folltext to which Any Event responded "I just read this and we sent this back over weeks ago, can they check their spam mail pleaseIt would have been from ***com" I then responded to his text within minutes "Will follow-up Just to confirm, who did you send it to?" - No response to my text. On 4/@ 12:49AM I received a text from Any Event saying "Let chat in the AM"I replied by at 5:AM "OkI'm off today Call me anytime" I received the next text communication on 4/@ 6:PM from Any Event stating "sorry for the delay we just got back in town from a High School prom gig in Houston, but we faxed it to Attn: Safety and Security at the Plano ISD at ###-###-#### This contradicts his previous response on 4/saying "we sent this back over weeks ago via email" Also, if you check the dates - Any Event states they didn't receive the packet until 4/ Two weeks from 4/is 4/(which he's stating they had not received the packet) I then rechecked my email and packet instructions which stated "Do Not Submit packet to Safety & Security, but return directly to the school" I texted Any Events on 4/@ 10:AM asking if they had scheduled the Fast Fingerprint Pass and restated what the initial instructions were I also called the school district to confirm whether they had received the documents - they had not. On 5/the school district still had not received the packet I sent a text at 4:PM with the fax number, District Employee Name stating the School District had agreed to process asap- I received NO response to my text Another text was sent on 5/@ 7:AM - asking Any Event to confirm whether they had resent the documents - NO RESPONSE Another text was sent on 5/@ 5:PM - asking again to confirm - NO RESPONSE Another text was sent on 5/@ 11:AM asking to confirm they had faxed everything and to let me know once they were faxed so that I could follwith the School district - NO RESPONSE On 5/@ 11:AM I sent another fax stating "just following up - please confirm you have refaxed" - which I then received a response at 12:PM stating "we have done a lot and have decided to decline this gig" - which is less than weeks from the date of the event I immediately called several times and sent several additional text messages I eventually spoke to Kimmie - she stated they had faxed the info and they weren't going to refax I told her that I was following up asking them to confirm whether they had sent it in so that I could follwith the school They did demanded to speak to someone at the school districtI text the person's name, phone number, fax number, email address and her supervisor's name and number and the physical address to Plano ISD This is the day we called the school district on the phone and left a message (because it was after 5:PM) I offered to meet them to obtain the documentation to submit to the School District myself The school district called me back at 8:the next morning She stated she tried to call Any Events and left a message From that point forward, Terri at the School District called me on a daily basis to follow-up. On 5/@ 9:PM I sent a text to Any Events asking if they had been able to contact the School District - NO RESPONSE On 5/@1:PM I sent another text asking Any Event to call me to confirm whether they were doing the event or not and whether they had spoke to Plano ISD - NO RESPONSE On 5/@ 3:PM I sent a text (while I was on the phone with Plano ISD and let them know that I was on the phone with them) and that Plano ISD is stating they have tried to call you several times with no responseI again offered to meet them to obtain the paperwork At this point - we are weeks from the event and I requested a full refund. The School District understanding I was panicing offered to put me in contact with other "approved" vendors I didn't receive a response from Any Events until 5:@ 5:PM I again offered "if you want to do the event - we can still do the event and I can meet you somewhere to get the paperwork" the school district had offered to process the documents same or next day. In Responce to this complaint we have done all we can and did not get paid fully for this eventIn the attachment you will see the invoice for $which she only paid about $Once a client call, email us about a date we block other clientsWe lost 4 potential clients that wanted this same dateAfter booking our service, the client called and text back that the School said "we needing a background check" and she would give us the person to forward over the info toNp, we done that costing us time and moneyAfter several weeks pasted we needed to do it again and send it to a different personWe forward the info to that person and they said they never received itAt this point we where up side down with this person and had spent almost $in fingerprints ,gas , time etc; I personally got on the phone with the client twice and did a conference call to whom we needed to re send the fingerprint and background check to and left two messagesThey never called us back, by the lady said they call her back, I ask why didn't she call us? I told her I really didn't understand and have done so many School, Wedding, private events and Proms for Plano ISD that I was confusedSee attachment.This has been such a waste of time and if she read the contract it states that refunds are non-refundable.

We will not honor her refunds. When we confirm everything emailed my insurance stating the services requested and they provide just that.

In Responce to this complaint we have done all we can and did not get paid fully for this event. In the attachment you will see the invoice for $518.00 which she only paid about $259.00. Once a client call, email us about a date we block other clients. We lost 4 potential clients that wanted...

this same date. After booking our service, the client called and text back that the School said "we needing a background check" and she would give us the person to forward over the info to. Np, we done that costing us time and money. After several weeks pasted we needed to do it again and send it to a different person. We forward the info to that person and they said they never received it. At this point we where up side down with this person and had spent almost $300 in fingerprints ,gas , time etc; I personally got on the phone with the client twice and did a conference call to whom we needed to re send the fingerprint and background check to and left two messages. They never called us back, by the lady said they call her back, I ask why didn't she call us? I told her I really didn't understand and have done so many School, Wedding, private events and Proms for Plano ISD that I was confused.
