Any Garment 1.99 Dry Cleaners Reviews (3)
Review: I dropped off my garments on Tuesday March 3rd, 2015. I specifically asked the woman at the counter if it was possible to have my garments ready by Friday morning, as my colleague was picking them up for me and this was the only time she had available to pick them up. The woman assured me that they would be ready friday morning. I live in New Mexico and have no way of going to the location to pick up my garments. I am training in the area and will not have a car. My friend went Friday morning they were not ready. She took half of my order and was told to come back at noon. My colleague went out of her way to return at noon and was told that the clothes were not ready and in fact would be ready after 1. She then explained that she had no way of returning to pick up my shirts. She was then assured that they would be delivered to her. When it was time for the delivery she received a text stating that the clothes could not be delivered. Now I paid for clothes to be cleaned that were not returned to me. I have asked for a refund and that was refused. I asked to have my clothes mailed to me and that was refused as well. When confronting the business owner I was met with hostility and accusations. Completely unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I either want a full refund applied to my card or my clothes to be shipped to me in Paramus or queens.
Review: I have a custom made dress for my wife overseas.. tailored to her fitting and I gave it to them to dry clean it.. the dress is off white with some red design on it. the dress came back pink stains, they told me they will re-dry clean it to remove them. it came back even more pink. the dress was ruined. when I complained about the dress and ask to refund for the cost of the dress which is about $150..the dress was brought few months ago from a custom tailor over seas..I did not sign any liability form for the dress. I was told that they will refund for the dress if ruined from the employee there. the owner refused and told me I need to talk to manufacturer as the dress has bleed color from dry cleaning. the dress doesn't have any instructions on it as it was custom made from cloth. but the tailor told us to dry clean it only and DO not wash.I think dry cleaners are responsible for dry cleaning the dress, as laundry will bleed color from dress, not dry cleaning.Desired Settlement: I want them to give me $150 so I could re order the dress, as the dress is ruined now. its half pink and half off white..
Review: I dropped off my cleaning at Any Garment Cleaners on 4/10/14 [redacted]), and pre-paid for the dry cleaning service ($25.87). It was to be ready for pick up on 4/11/14. When I went to pick up my items, the business had been evicted from the building with everyone's items locked inside. According to the court, they knew for weeks that this was going to happen, and they still continued to take people's money and belongings. I have been unsuccessful contacting the business, the landlord, or the number posted on the window. I have contacted the attorney for the landlord and also for the business, with both lawyers telling me to contact the other lawyer. I move to a different state the first weekend of May, and want my belongings immediately.Desired Settlement: I want my 13 items of clothing back, which consist of hundreds of dollars of suits. In addition, I want a refund of $25.87. This needs to happen before May 2 - my move date.
