Review: Any Garment Cleaners failed to return my garments that were brought into thier store on or about November 4, 2013.

I have been attempting to recover thses items for many months. they have made many excuses and kept advising me to come back and wait for another customer to bring them back.

they took the outrageous step of trying to give me ten (10) random pieces of clothing that were left unclaimed by other customers inisting that they were mine.

They most certainly not mine.Desired Settlement: I want them to return my 10 items: three (3) pairs of pants and seven (7) shirts or fully compensate me for my loss. I am seeking $360.00 for these ten (10) items (fair market value less wear and tear). In addition, they must return the $20.00 fee that they charged me to clean those items.

The total owed to me is $380.00

Review: December 19, 2014 I had 17 garments dried cleaned. I picked them up a day or two later. Worn a pair of slacks and noticed a very strong chemical order coming from the slacks I went to check the other garments and they all had the same strong chemical order. I proceeded to wear the slacks and that evening when I came home I noticed my skin peeling and was broken with small amounts of blood around my waist. I tried wearing another pair of slacks the following day and the reaction to my skin was the same breaking out in a rash(very bad rash). That Monday I took the garments back to the cleaners and explained to them what had occurred and if they would just take the garments back and clean them over because I felt that they have mistakenly put too much chemicals in the cleaning process. I have no intention of suing I must want good customer service. The man at the cleaners refused to honor my request, would not tell me who the owners were, how to contact them, no phone numbers, no address of the headquarters nothing. I was detained for nearly an hour trying to make resolution of this matter and no one cooperated with me. What is troubling about this issue and the lack of appropriate customer service is that I have been using the cleaners for several years and never a problem.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to either clean the garments over or simply refund my the $35.00 plus money I spent for have the garments cleaned. I truly would like for them to re-clean the garments.

Review: I paid for dry cleaning services for 2 garments which consisted of 2 pairs of women's slacks that I purchased in a local boutique. Not only did I not receive the services of dry cleaning, I did not receive my pants back (breach of contract and I had already paid for these services!). I spoke to the "manager", "[redacted]", in person by coming into the facility 3 times. I followed up with 3 additional phone calls and [redacted] finally advised me he could not locate my garments and they were no where in his store. [redacted] asked me to provide copies of the receipts for the purchase of these pants, as he explained he would have to go through insurance to reimburse me due to the cost. which I verbally told him the prices of. I provided these receipts to [redacted] within 2 days. After he received the receipts, he tried to tell me that someone must've picked up the garments, however, no one from my household picked them up - not me or my family. He then accused me of just trying to get money from them, which is ridiculous (why would I choose only 2 pair of slacks besides having the receipt and him having no documentation of anyone picking them up), and also mentioned that the slacks were expensive, which I told him the prices of from the first time he couldn't find my garments. Sounded like he just didn't want to reimburse at all, as if they were too expensive. I suggested [redacted] call the boutique for confirmation, with boutique owner's name and phone number, but he refused and said he "wasn't going to waste his time". t have the receipt from Any Garment Cleaners and their process is for a signature in order to pick up a garment without the receipt. He then informed me he would not reimburse me and I'd have to take him to court. He outright refused to provide his last name, nor an owner's name, his manager's name or anyone above him. I explained that I just wanted my clothes back but if not, I would seek reimbursement so I can repurchase my slacksDesired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed the cost of my two pairs of slacks which is $368.00 total ($200.00 and $168.00), as per the receipts provided, plus the amount I paid for the dry cleaning services I never received of $3.98 totaling $371.98.

Review: They completely ruined my $495 suit. When I asked them to pay for it, they got rude and sent me on a goose chase for 2 months. they ended up only paying $25 dollars.Desired Settlement: I was forced to purchase a new Suit and I would like them to pay for it. The suit costs $495.

Review: My blouse was ruined after dry cleaning. Company agreed to clean it again; however, the blouse was still ruined (blotchy stains all over a what-used-to-be white blouse). Company's owner then decided to clean it himself with no avail. After a week of back and forth, the company refused to abide by their policy clearly printed on the back of the receipt. Policy states the company's liability with respect to any lost or damaged article shall not exceed 10 times our charge for processing it. They did not even refund the cost of dry cleaning it! The company did nothing to remedy the situation.Desired Settlement: The company needs to honor their policy. I need to be reimbursed for my ruined blouse. I still have the receipt for the item, as it was recently purchased and only worn once.

Review: This dry cleaner lost my shirt on 5/22. I was told they were looking for it and to come back in a few days of which I did and they still could not find it. I was told I needed to provide proof of the price of the shirt of which I brought in the pricing of the shirt they lost. Then I was told to wait 2 weeks so they could do the insurance claim. I came back 2 weeks later and still no refund was given. The manager was completely rude every time I went in and there was never any apology for the fact that they lost it. I asked to have the owners number to contact him as I was tired of dealing with the rude and obnoxious manager. I then contacted the owner only to be told that I was the rude one and that he would not be giving me a refund. I have the email to show. I want my refund of 49.50 that I am owed for the shirt they lost. They have the worst customer service I have ever encountered and I would never go back to this business. I want the refund right away.Desired Settlement: Refund of 49.50 for my lost shirt. I should ask for more for all the aggravation they have caused me in order to get what they owe me back but at this point I just want what is owed to me.

Review: Dropped off my son's winter jacket to be cleaned on Sunday October 4 was told it would be ready Tuesday October 6. I went to pick it up Wednesday October 7 to be told they could not find it. I made numerous calls sent pictures of the missing coat for them to no return calls as they said they will to then through email tell me their camera show I dropped off a blue coat and the picture shows a black coat. I informed him I took picture of coat before dropping it off. I was told to come fill out a claim form for reimbursement with proof of purchase. I explained I had this coat almost a year and no longer have proof but I do have proof that I dropped coat off to them to be cleaned.Desired Settlement: I want reimbursement of coat $275 plus cleaning charge of $3.99

Review: I dropped off a total of 13 pieces of clothing at this dry cleaner on 08/14/13. Last week, I received a phone call from the dry cleaner stating that they moved to a different location, around or near [redacted] I attempted to find this location on 09/17/13 to pick up my clothes. There was no Any Garment Cleaners in this vicinity. I also drove up and down [redacted] attempting to locate Any Garment Cleaners but could not find them. Finally, I went to original location at [redacted] and discovered the shop closed with no sign, locked and dark with many garments still hanging on the racks. Their business hours are still posted on the door: Mon-Sat 9AM to 8PM.Desired Settlement: I would either like my cleaned clothing returned to me or I would like to be compensated for the cost of my clothing.

Review: I was treated poorly by the counter person in regards to a mistake made by their organization. $100 in dry cleaning was lost and they failed to help me find it. When I asked for the managers name I was given false information. First I was told he isn't here. Then I stated I didn't ask if he was there I asked for his name. Then I was told he quit. Then I asked for the person in charge, to which I was informed that there is no manager. I then asked for the name of the owner and this game continued.Desired Settlement: I want an apology and refund of services and missing clothing.

Review: I brought 2 shirts valued at $70.00 each to Any Garment Cleaners located on [redacted] and when I picked them up one had a Black stain on the collar and the other had White stains and holes. They refused to give me back the shirts and only offered me $20.00 as compensation which is $120.00 less than the value of the shirts. I then had to call the police authority to come and retrieve my shirts for me so that I can file a small claims suit against this company because the store manager refused to assist or compensate me for the damages.Desired Settlement: I am looking to get cash compensation of $140.00 for the damages that were done to my shirts.

Review: On 4/18/2014 I dropped off a number of garments for cleaning. I picked them on Saturday, April 19th, and for the most part was satisfied, except for the eight (8) velour slacks, which were still damp folded over the hanger, and "stuck" onto the white cardboard hanger divider. This left a clearly visible white mark across the legs of each of the velour slacks. I was also missing a butterscotch top rounded button from one of my silk blouses. I immediately hung each of the slacks up on clip hangers and called the store. They told me to bring them back the next day (yes-Easter) and they would redo them and hang them on pant hangers which we agreed to provide. We dropped off everything on Easter Sunday to be redone and hung properly. Today is Monday, April 21, and we received a phone call from the Store Manager, [redacted], at 4:05pm informing me that they would not be able to hang the slacks on the pant hangers we left with them. She said it was against company policy. We could come and pick up our garments as they would not be cleaning them again despite the visible white sticky cardboard lines left on the garments. We drove up to [redacted] at around 4:45pm and was then told putting the slacks on our hangers would require extra processing and it would cost an additional $4.00 per slack to hang them on the hangers we supplied them. Their excuse, it required more work. We asked them to re-clean them to remove the sticky white marks. She said she would not and refused to give us our cleaning money back. We asked for the name and phone number of the store owner, and was told his name was [redacted], same phone number as the [redacted] store. I was able after some detective work to find out he has other stores which are now closed and out of business and he has 4 cell phone numbers, and rarely can be reached at any of them.Desired Settlement: Given the rude treatment by the [redacted] Store Manager ([redacted]) we are asking that the store either agree to re-clean (to remove the white sticky marked fold marks the 8 velour slacks and hang them properly on clip style slack hangers we supplied them with and not folded in half on the white cardboard hanger dividers, for free, as we have already paid for the cleaning service, or, they pay for the full re-cleaning of these slacks at a cleaner locally who will hang them properly and not do any further damage to them. Since the owner has bailed out on two dry clean stores, already, I am skeptical of bringing them to [redacted] Store again, out of fear they will do further damage to them. I also understand claims made against them by courts in the customers favor have resulted in no payments being made for damages done, despite court judgments to do so.

I just want my velour slacks back to the pristine condition they were in, since they were new within two months old. At least others will know.

Review: I took a garment (long dress) to be dry cleaned. I apid for the service in advance. When I went to pick up the dress, I was told "there was no location for it". They can't find the garment. I stopped back again to drop off another garment a few days later and was now told I need to speak to the Manager who was not it. I have called over a dozen times on different days and the phone rang and the fax tone sounded. No one was picking up the phone. I called the MArtial Arts business next door to the Any Garment Cleaner and asked for them to go to the cleaner and tell them to get their phone fixed. When I went yesterday to pick up the second garment I left, (which was fine) I was told that they still can't find my dress and that the man who racks the clothes needs to look into the situtation. The clerk, whose name is [redacted], said the Manager's name is [redacted] anad she will talk to him about my situation in the morning, meaning today, August 22. I tried calling a few times this morning without success. I called again moments ago and fianlly spoke to a person, "[redacted]" who also said the Manager is not in. I explained I dislike the run around and need to speak to the Manager as soon as he gets there. I left my name and phone number. I understand that things happen and items do get lost, however, I read a review of this business on line and someone else experienced the same sort of issue as well. (Lost item and no resolution) I also called to try and locate the franchise's main office. That was unsuccessful. I called another Any Garment Cleaner and spoke to the Manager there to ask how they handle "Lost Garments" . He said they refund the cost to have the garment cleaned!! What about the cost of the garment???????

It's the principle of the matter here. I simply want my dress back and would appreciate your assistance in making that happen. Thank you.

IDesired Settlement: I REALLY would like my dress back. They need to make an effort to find it. I also need to speak to the Manager. If they cannot locate it, I would like to be fully compensated for the cost of the garment.

Review: I picked up nine garments from Any Garment cleaners on Saturday - June 22, 2013. On Monday - June 24, 2013 when I put a dress on that was one of the garments that were among the nine garments cleaned I discovered a big whole in the front of the dress. Saturday - June 29th I did not have the time to take the dress back to the cleaners. However, on Saturday - July 6th I took the dress back and explained to the clerk that recently I had this dress cleaned along with eight other garments. When I put this dress on I found this big hole in the front. The clerk said, just a moment, I will get the manager. The manager came from the back ad appeared to be rushed, very attitudal and agitated. I pointed out the hole in the dress and told her that the dress was cleaned here. She was very loud, condescending and rude. She said "we did not put that hole there. This dress is old. She yelled over to two other workers who never walked over to see the dress and both nooded their heads in agreement with the manager. Then the manager said to me, "that whole was not done here". I said to her, this dress did not have a whole when I brought it in here for cleaning. And why would I have a dress cleaned with a hole?" She repeated, "we did not put a whole in that dress." Her voice got louder and louder. Then she said, "come on!!" I said to her, there are laws. I took my dress and left the store.First of all, there was no reason for her attitude or tone of voice that she used to me. In addition, there were other customers in the store.I do not have the original purchase receipt for my dress, but the value should be at least $20.00. And I personal feel with the verbal attack from this woman I deserve even more. My attorney is out of town, but I have seriously considered contacting him about further damages. The kind of attitude that this woman dislayed when she came from the back was in appropriate.[redacted]. [redacted]Desired Settlement: $20.00 for my dress and a written apology for this woman's verbal attack.

Review: Clothes were improperly dry cleaned (had black marks and was not pressed)and they refused to fix the problem or give me a refund. Owner stated himself that what did I expect for .99. Also stated that if I dont like his service, dont come back.
