This was an order from Ebay, ordered on Thursday We have a day process term on Ebay and it was processed the following day as a Next Day order If there was an estimated delivery date that the buyer saw, that is determined by Ebay and has zero affiliation with our company The next day charge was for next business day, to assume it was going to be shipped Next Day Saturday (usually an additional $with UPS or Fedex,) is not our fault There is no Saturday delivery option in Ebay and the customer never noted on the order he expected it by Saturday, it was processed as Next Day order and was received by the customer on Monday, which by the terms of the original order is the next business dayIf we had been contact prior to the order being shipped, we could of made a point to ship the same day the order was processed, or we could of easily shipped priority mail and being that we are in Riverside CA (zip code ***) and the buyer being in Ventura CA (zip code ***,) it would of been there on Saturday for no charge, via the original listing purchase optionWe responded to the customer in his messages and explained this He opened up a return case with us to return the pump for a refund This is from Ebay: "Aug: The buyer requested a return Comments I am requesting a return of my expedited Saturday delivery fee as that did not occur with this orderMy issue with this purchase is that the seller offered a slightly higher price than other sellers BUT the description offered expedited priority overnight shipping that showed he could get it to me on SaturdayI have the emails showing that was the delivery date to be expected based on the $expedited shipping fee I paidI ordered it on Thursday and seller shipped it on Friday Per FedEx , shipper notes specified Monday morning delivery which is NOT what I paid forMonday was the date shipper was showing the eta for free shippingI am requesting a refund of the expedited fee as I had to have someone fix my existing water pump Saturday as the replacement did not arrive in timeI have contacted seller and seller is now saying that he only offer next business day shipping which is NOT what was described and NOT what was sent in the email confirming my order/delivery date of Saturday." Looks like Ebay sided in his favor, so once the pump comes back he will automatically be refunded We have no control over the estimated arrival date, we explained that to no avail Lesson of the day, never assume, if he needed it so bad, he could of called or messaged us and we could of handled it I am a small family business, customer service is golden for us, but this is lack of communication and a lack of knowledge on shipping Ebay isn't Amazon Simple communication would of solved this from the very start This was not an advertising issue, this was a lack of communication issue, a lack of understanding of shipping, and a quick rush to judgement without understanding the processes Regards, [redacted] Vice President Schwalm Parts

I am rejecting this response because:
Please see attached for the what the sellers website appeared like when I went through the SAME ordering processing a week later (Thursday 8/17). I did not complete this sample order but wanted to get clear screen shots of what was advertised on their website. On the first screen shot it shows that I can get it Fast 'N Free On or before the next Monday (in this case it shows Monday 8/21), but when I ordered on 8/it showed Fast N Free delivery on Monday 8/14.On the second screen shot showing the Shipping Options that someone at AnyRvParts configured for their eBay storefront it shows they offer types of shipping. One Expedited Shipping with USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box which is their free option OR they also offer One-Day Shipping (FedEx Priority Overnight) which showed a Saturday delivery option. On the second screen shot at the very top it also notes eBay's policy on this that the Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing. If the seller chooses for the internal processes to only offer Next Business Day shipping but configures their eBay storefront to show that they offer FedExPriority Overnight with a Saturday delivery option, that is the sellers responsibility. It is not eBay's. When you open an online storefront on eBay, eBay gives you choices on how you configure what shipping options are available to customers and someone at AnyRvParts (aka Schwalm parts) selected these options to be displayed.Given that is what I as the customer saw when I placed my order, and selected the $option for FedEx Priority Overnight) for Saturday delivery on 8/12/(days later) it is ridiculous to think that I need to CLARIFY any further with the vendor in order comments or by calling to confirm that I really needed this on Saturday. If Monday was an acceptable option I would have selected the first choice.I understand from what the seller has provided after the fact that the seller's internal processes only allow for Next Business Day shipping for any expedited shipping requests and require a one day lead time on top of that, but again , that is not what their online store front advertises. In case it wasn't clear before, eBays statement in this regard is that Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing. As the seller noted, eBay did side with me noting that seller did not provide the shipping that was advertised, however by the time eBay intervened, I had already had the late water pump installed and my rig back on the road. While I was requesting from eBay JUST the refund for the shipping, eBays only solution was for me to uninstall the water pump and return it before 9/1/to get both the pump and shipping refunded. As I explained at the time that it would be difficult before 9/1/to buy yet another water pump from another vendor, and reschedule and pay for my mechanic (a second time!) to replace the one I received from AnyRvParts. Since I couldn't make the 9/deadline eBay required, eBay closed the claim and shipping that used water pump back to AnyRVParts is NOT an option anymore according to eBay. The most frustrating thing about this is as the sellers Revdex.com response noted, given the distance between Riverside and Ventura, it would have been easy for them to ship it priority mail for free to get here by Saturday which is all I wanted in the first place (and in case it wasn't clear from my selections on their online storefront, I was willing to pay an extra $per their shipping page to make sure if got here by Saturday 8/12).All I ever asked for and am still asking for at this point is a refund of the $that I was charged for the FedEx Priority Overnight Saturday delivery that I did NOT receive with this order. I don't care if that refund comes as cash, check or paypal refund for that portion.*** ***###-###-####

This was an order from Ebay, ordered on Thursday.  We have a 1 day process term on Ebay and it was processed the following day as a Next Day order.  If there was an estimated delivery date that the buyer saw, that is determined by Ebay and has zero affiliation with our company.  The...

next day charge was for next business day, to assume it was going to be shipped Next Day Saturday (usually an additional $20 with UPS or Fedex,) is not our fault.  There is no Saturday delivery option in Ebay and the customer never noted on the order he expected it by Saturday, it was processed as Next Day order and was received by the customer on Monday, which by the terms of the original order is the next business day. If we had been contact prior to the order being shipped, we could of made a point to ship the same day the order was processed, or we could of easily shipped priority mail and being that we are in Riverside CA (zip code [redacted]) and the buyer being in Ventura CA (zip code [redacted],) it would of been there on Saturday for no charge, via the original listing purchase option. We responded to the customer in his messages and explained this.  He opened up a return case with us to return the pump for a refund.  This is from Ebay: "Aug. 16 : The buyer requested a return Comments I am requesting a return of my expedited Saturday delivery fee as that did not occur with this order. My issue with this purchase is that the seller offered a slightly higher price than other sellers BUT the description offered expedited priority overnight shipping that showed he could get it to me on Saturday. I have the emails showing that was the delivery date to be expected based on the $40.69 expedited shipping fee I paid. I ordered it on Thursday and seller shipped it on Friday . Per FedEx , shipper notes specified Monday morning delivery which is NOT what I paid for. Monday was the date shipper was showing the eta for free shipping. I am requesting a refund of the expedited fee as I had to have someone fix my existing water pump Saturday as the replacement did not arrive in time. I have contacted seller and seller is now saying that he only offer next business day shipping which is NOT what was described and NOT what was sent in the email confirming my order/delivery date of Saturday." Looks like Ebay sided in his favor, so once the pump comes back he will automatically be refunded.  We have no control over the estimated arrival date, we explained that to no avail.  Lesson of the day, never assume, if he needed it so bad, he could of called or messaged us and we could of handled it.  I am a small family business, customer service is golden for us, but this is lack of communication and a lack of knowledge on shipping.  Ebay isn't Amazon.  Simple communication would of solved this from the very start.  This was not an advertising issue, this was a lack of communication issue, a lack of understanding of shipping, and a quick rush to judgement without understanding the processes.   Regards, [redacted] Vice President Schwalm Parts
