2-1-17 I arrived at [redacted] responding to a call to install a new door closure.  Speaking first to the receptionist then to [redacted].  Initially I tried adjusting the original closure without success.  I informed [redacted] who had informed...

me he was the business owner that I would install a new unit but I would have to drive across town to get one.  He agreed.  Upon return I installed the new closure.  The door closure at normal setting would close the door but it would blow open approximately 1 to 2 inches. The door closures are equipped with a tension spring for increased power, causing 'heavy door' if this phenomenon is not occurring the door though closing completely and much improved would eventually would succumb to the full blowing power of this wind. After checking the door bottom, the hinge pivots and any source of binding as an alternative cause for this condition, I requested [redacted]s to stand outside of the front door to experience the wind blowing from inside out.  She refused.  Her receptionist also refused (Family business). At this point I tried to explain to herthat she didn't have a door closure problem  She had and A/C problem.  She would not accept this nor at any time did she accept it.I asked a tech who had come to the front to shut off the A/C.  The door shut and is quite heavy to openso depending on if the A/C is cycling the closure will react quite differently. One of the techs told me they didn't have any problems with the door until management repaired the window over the door which was apparently allowing air to escape and may have been caused by the system.\After quite a bit of back and for the with her accusing me of using a used part and not knowing what I was doing.  She told me no one else was having a problem.  I told her I didn't know why .  At some point after this [redacted]s did visit at leas one neighbor and reported ot me that I was right the neighbor had the same problem. the A/C return air is non-existant, broken, or blocked up.After some demands and arguing, [redacted]s demanded an guarantee.  I did tell them that they needed ownership to correct the problem and I would be glad to come back and readjust the closure.Around this time I wrote the invoice and presented it to them.  She coss examined me about the bill telling me she didn't pay her techs that much.  I did tell her I was not one of her techs. She did write a check and threatened to cancel it.  I attempted to increase the pressure on the closure.  Talking to [redacted] we agreed to leave it like that for not.  I left the premises.  I drove and entered the freeway and received a call to come back. 'It's broken, come back.' I returned to the office.  Everything was as IU left it.  [redacted] was next door at this time. [redacted]s' glass office is adjacent to the front door and the receptionist desk is facing the front door.  [redacted]s was behind her desk.  At no time did I approach her unless 5 feet is uncomfortably close.  Somebody was verbally attacking someone in a response to an accusation of overcharging.  I did did tell her 'you charge $100.00 non-refundable for someone to walk in the front door.'  Which I trly regret.  As it seemed the conversation was deteriating I turned away and started toward the back door calling out to [redacted]. This is when one of the ladies yelled at me 'Don't go back there.  That's confidential.  Get out.'  This was very loud.  'I'll call the police.'  I pivoted on my heels exited the building and got in my van.  At that point [redacted] came out of the adjoining united and told me I was right about this being a shared problem. I then told him of the tension, ect., in the officeAll I can say is in 16 years of having my little business I never had a complian like this or these rather meabn charges made against me.  My wor is always guaranteed.  I tell people 'If there is a problem just call me, I will come look at it and take dcare of it.'  I don't ig not these things.  I have a great reputation in San Antonio.  [redacted] has, for all these years, had me Top Rated. Amazon wants me to advertise through them. Many neighborhood websites have me highly rate3d. Along fwith many business which I service regularly. All of this is a great blessing to me which I appreciate and seek to deserve. My guarantee hold in this case.  I 'm will to listen if any one else is.
