Started here in June of to get in shape for a friend's wedding I worked with a great trainer named [redacted] who was absolutely the best trainer anyone could ask for btu was unhappy as certain staff member were let go with no explanationAlso, I then got stuck with multiple jury duty selections and I was not aware that I could have frozen my account to accommodate for that and not paid during my time not used but ; I paid my monthly dues anywaysand like the happy customer I was thought nothing of itNow a few months later I realized, around February of this year that I had not been using the gym membership as much a I had liked and thought my year was almost up I should be done soon anywaysI called to verify this and ensure there was no auto sign up renewal and instead was told I had signed an month contract and that I am now legally binded into this contract until December I then proceeded to say that I would like to cancel my membership and they told me that I am stuck paying the bill until December! I can say I called being a happy customer that said listen your club isn't motivating me enough right now I need to try something differentMaybe I will come back but after how rude the management was about making me stay and potentially now pay until December -- months worth of services that I will not be using I would tell everyone to really rethink their decision of if this is the right gym for them because once you are in their is NO WAY OUT! They now expect me to pay dollars for services that will not be rendered because the owner [redacted] says they have loans through ABC financialI don't know what kind of business tells their customers they have bank loans but it sounds absolutely absurd! They did say they are willing to setlle for $which is half of what I would owe should I had continued to stay at the gymAlthough many places online are saying that I should be able to cancel out with day written notice and cancellation charge of $which I was told they do not do but it all over the internet
