I first signed up with this fitness club 1.5-years ago When the former manager (Marissa) told me I needed to she quoted me a new price and told me I could opt out at any time Just to notify them and they would let me out I had expressed to the new manager Shay that Marissa had told me they would be developing morning fitness classes and to hang in there with them That never happened, and Marissa left3-months ago, I expressed to Shay that I needed morning fitness classes and he said he'd see what he could do When it was clear they weren't going to set up any morning classes I joined LIfetime Fitness I notified Shay last week that I was cancelling and he said he would let me out and notify me as to when He never did notify me Today when I contacted him again, he told me he had to hold me until April and wants to charge me $per month for Jan, Feb, Mar & April I tried talking to him about what Marissa had told me and he said "well she's not here now a

My name is ***, I'm the DM for the Anytime Fitness Location's and am the MGR on duty for the ATF Medina locationI have spoke with Mr.*** on this matter as he asked for me to cancel his membership, I simply told him we
would need a day cancellation notice from him in order to process this and during that day notice, we require more payment to complete the processI had advised Mr*** with his agreement that he intialled and signed the agreement with him stating he undestands that the agreement goes into auto-renewal and that it would go month to month after the agreement has been completeIt also states that in order to cancel his membership, he will be required to come in and sign a cancellation form to process his request
WE have 100% authorization from Mr.*** on his monthly dues and his agreement to us that his agreement will go month to month after the full term is completeMr.*** had removed his payment on file and this led to a late charge fee in which he is responsible for
There is no record of notes of Mr*** asking to have his agreement removed off Auto-Renewal as we do keep track of these when they come in
Mr*** has refused to work with us or even come in to cancel his membership in person as he agreed to on his agreement overall
These are legal documentations we have everyone sign and intial in every box to have them completely understand what they are signing and to promise to pay us as the business until he would like to cancel in which he asked over email and he knows we dont take phone calls or email as we need his live signature by law in order to cancel out an agreement of any sort
