Our first correspondence about this customer came from an individual later claiming to be a relative/girlfriend of the person listed on the account. She contacted us via our Facebook messaging on November 27th with the following messages.
"I...

canceled my membership and you guys are still taking money from my account."
"Please write me now."
I responded to her requesting she call the club Monday morning as we were closed for the Holiday and advised her if she had just canceled the membership there is still a 30 day notice. She again requested a refund of her money, threatened to Contac the Police department and the Revdex.com.
Outcome from phone and online conversations- All of which came from a person NOT in control of the account. We expressed to her that we cannot discuss financial information with an individual not listed on the account in question. We were finally able to reach the correct individual and every effort was made to assist.
*Account had been transferred to our club, NO new contract was signed. I sent a screen shot from our data base indicating the account was open ended
*Our manager emailed a 30 day cancel form first thing Monday morning, requesting it be returned as soon as possible, needed to be signed by the account holder or person on the financial responsibility side of the account.
*We did NOT charge the account for the 30 day notice, once we received the email reply indicating they wanted the membership stopped. They returned the notice on the same day at payment was due. Account was credited back the next business day.
*We were not told of the status of the individual and that he had other relatives making his financial decisions until the account was already stopped.
*Had the member inquiring filled us in on that key fact we might have been able to understand the situation better.
*I spoke with the individual's mother on December 10, 2015 at 1430 hours. She indicated she is fine with the outcome and had more of an issue with ABC financial because there is not a number listed on the bank statements.
*Our feeling is that there was some confusion between all parties involved and hopes the affected individuals understands that we follow guidelines so everyone is treated fairly.

Anytime fitness and ABC financial services never revealed their selves with a factual phone number. They've taken funds from bank account without authorization.
I [redacted] had signed on with [redacted] together for a year contract in 2013, knowing he has a disability, if Anytime fitness would've asked I would've told them then.
anytime fitness had a contact number that belongs to [redacted]'s girlfriend which is typical for him to use as a contact, there was a contact of me ([redacted]) thru Email that they anytime fitness had on file.
I'm not satisfied.
Not good business etiquette.
