Anytime Fitness

For almost two weeks, I've been trying to contact Anytime Fitness, at the Welland location to cancel my membership. The owners are *** and ***. I've sent a few emails (like they've requested to cancel a membership) but I have not heard from them stating if my membership is cancelled. I went into the facility as well and they keep telling to cancel through email and that they do not cancel while you are there in person. My year membership was up as of July 30th, 2019 and I do not want to be a member of that gym anymore. ***. The membership is under ***.

Have contacted 5 times to cancel my gym membership after the 1 year lock in period and have been given the run around. Been attempting to cancel for 3 months with no response and still having charges on my account. Originally was told to fill out form on website, when that didn't work and I called again I was told to send it to an email address (not listed on their website) and have still had charges since and have not received any communication back. Very poor management and communication.

I have a membership with this gym for the past few years. I have decided to end my membership. On February 9th I went to the gym to talk to one of the owners to cancel my membership and was told by the female owner to email in. That day I sent my first email. I waited for a few days an got no reply so I sent my second email on February 11th. Still no reply. I sent another on the 12th of February and again on the 15th of February and no reply. I gave it a few days for another reply since Family day was coming up. My next message that I sent to them was thru their *** page, on February 19th, so I could see if it was read, it was no. I am frustrated at this lack of customer service. I am also not the only one who has had this issue according to their *** review page.
