It is hard to express my frustration in words. I have been trying to get a refund for $180 from this gym for 5 months. I have been put off and pushed around since April 6th. It is currently August 10th. I was told it would be refunded to my card, it wasn't. I was told a check would be dropped off at the gym, it wasn't. I was told a check would be mailed to me, it wasn't. I was told my contract was cancelled and it wasn't. I am fed up. I am living off of a single income during a pandemic. It is unacceptable to steal from customers during normal circumstances and especially now during these uncertain times.
Refund I would appreciate a refund of $180.
Initially the card on file had been cancelled and we are unable to issue a refund to a canceled card. At this time the gym had a temporary closure due to COVID shutting gyms down; simultaneously change of management occurred. As the new manager I resumed conversation with her to and the owner to determine the next course of action. The owner stated he would mail a check to the address she provided. After the check that had been mailed to the customer's house; it had been returned to sender which I then notified the customer and informed her that the gym owner will be dropping off the check to the club this week. When the customer had submitted a complaint to our corporate dashboard I had contacted the customer

Text - Left Message - We have received your member feedback. I apologize during this transitional time of gym closures, management change and pandemic your experience with Anytime Fitness has been as such. I will confirm when the owner has dropped off the check.
At this point the customer then filed a complain with the Revdex.com. The client was notified that the check was available for pick-up, like promised, and has since picked up the check.
