Anytime Fitness

Last month I contacted Anytime Fitness to find out what was needed to cancel my wife's and my membership. It is on a month to month basis. I advised them I was cancelling as of May 31st. I never received a return call but our credit card was charged again. I sent by today to return they Key Fabs and spoke with the Owner. He would not answer any cancellation questions just kept giving my the phone number he said I needed to call to cancel. When I called *** they said only by e-mail and or Cert mail. This is the policy of the local club. So they have charged my wife and I June 5th July 5th and Aug 5th. I understand the June 5th charge but the other two should be refunded. The owner purposely keep the information requested to cancel from us in order to bilk us for more money. I find these actions Unscrupulous.

The key that allows 24 hour access to the facility has not worked for over 6 months now, still hasn't been resolved after several contacts with the owner.

I continue to be billed for a membership that cancelled on January 31, 2018. My sister in law suffered a stroke and needed a place to rebuild her strength. She lives in Grand Junction and found Anytime Fitness I spoke with the owner of the gym and explained the situation and told him I was willing to pay for a year membership for her. He agreed my card would only be charged for the year membership and it would not continue after January 2018. Since I am in Texas and the gym is in Colorado I have no way to address them with this in person. Repeated phone calls to the gym go unanswered.
