Mr*** contracted for interstate moving services with a delivery window of up to business days of the first available
dateMr*** indicated May 21, as the first date he was available to receive deliveryDelivery was attempted on May 30th but was delayed until May 31st, when it was determined that a shuttle vehicle was required to access the delivery locationWhen the delivery team returned on May 31st, Mr*** refused to pay the balance due on the contract or the ancillary servicesThe contract terms require payment in full before a shipment is unloaded for delivery
As Mr*** refused to pay the balance due on the contract, the delivery team had no option but to transport Mr***'s shipment to temporary storage until Mr*** could make arrangements to pay the balance owed to the carrierOur records show that Mr*** has contacted Top Class and made arrangements to bring his account up to date and the shipment was released for deliveryThank you

The company Anywhere Moving and Storage is also known as several companiesThey have failed to not only deliver all my items but also overcharged for the amount of itemsThe problems with this company is that they failed to accept the payment that was available at the time pursuant to even their own contract
In addition they hired a subcontractor to deliver our items and showed up on Sunday evening at 10:00pm and not only demanded the amount of money that was due but more money than what was agreed uponThe authorities had to be called and therefore, the contractor was not happy with that as the police ran their license plates, licenses etc
Anywhere moving and storage not only misled us to as when and how our items would be delivered it appears that their own contract contradicts themselves and is not pursuant to federal regulations
Finally we agree to pay the amount that Anywhere Moving and Storage demanded by submitting directly into their bank account as they had request and they still failed to deliver the items that day nor provide me with contact information on who had my itemsIt was later found out that a 3rd company would be delivering my items as they were put into a storage unit
Anywhere moving and storage easily could have rectified the situation however, there was no management ever available to reach or contact me to make the decisionThere was only person whom I dealt with who was only a Sales person or "manager" but had no authority to make decisions and could only contact the "owner" who was out of the countryWhen I inquired who owned the company I was told to look online and this sales manager also could not even provide the name or spelling
The authorities were contacted again along with the Cook County States Attorneys office in addition to a complaint with the US Department of Transportation
This company continues to operate without any regard to the customerNot only was there extreme communication delays, over charging there are numerous substantially broken items and missing items with the only course of action to contact another 3rd party to send a complaintThey do not take ownership over ANY of their actions or processesRepeatedly I am told that is how the business is when moving across states however every red flag noted in hiring a moving company, Anywhere Moving and Storage or *** *** *** hits all of them
