AOS, Inc. Reviews (14)

This company is a not legitimate and are scamming companies Same thing happened to our business by this company as the last reviewer They pieced together information about our company and claimed our CFO ordered thousands of dollars in office supplies over the phone Delivered them and sent an invoice Our internal controls stopped funds from being released as well and are we have notified the proper agencies of these fraudulent business practices by this company

I received a phone call asking to sell us office supplies cause they are movingI talked with them, and told them, before I place any orders, I will have to check out their company and read reviews and look at pricing infomation
I received an order from them the next week, without them asking to ship me anything, and without giving me any pricing infomation, even after I told them on the phone call, I was not placing any order
I was unable to reach them at their answering machineBut when the bill arrived a month later, they did respond and agreed to send me labels and get a refund
I have yet to receive any of the above

Received a call that the company was relocating and we could buy office supplies that would be very inexpensive Received boxes of office supplies and a month later a bill for more than $3, What a scam! Returned the items
Will never accept offers over the phone again

Very misleadingThey tell you, you are paying a certain amount for an item and they send you a mass of merchandiseThan they bill you for thousands of dollars They bill you for items they didn't send and you receive items that aren't on the invoiceDue to the large price you have to send them back which leads you spending hundreds to return it back No one answers the phone or return calls for you to talk to them regarding the delivery They state they are moving from Texas to Colorado and need to get rid of merchandisetheir tactic is they send the merchandise than a month later they send you the bill, when you see it you are in shock of the amount of the bill

I think I was part of a total scam Someone called here (female) told me she was moving out of state and gave me incredibly low prices on many itemsWhen the bill came (much later than product) the prices were higher then what I normally payIt was less than $and the bill came at $ I would love to return rather than pay this invoice Their invoice #*** They totally should not be in businessI am very upset that the bait and switch

BEWARE!!! I received a telephone call from Mande ***?? who claims they are moving to Colorado to open their business and do not want to ship supplies- great prices if you buy now from our Stamford Location Went thru items with her advised her I wanted to e-mail her a PO so we can agree on the items being purchased- her comment no I do not need PO She gave me a telephone number for Colorado where her husband is ?? I called there you can hear the telephones being forwarded then it states all cust svs reps are busy leave your name I finally spoke with a woman Janet who stated mande is her cousin- I advised her I did research on line and they are a scam- do not ship any boxes to our address we will refuse them

Got a call transferred to my desk. Sales rep. from AOS Inc. stated they spoke to the company CFO and that they were having a moving sale. Company leaving Warner Robins GA and relocating to Colorado Spring, CO. Salesperson stated they had 3x3 Post it pads for $0.99 per pack, 3/4" #m Frosted Scotch tape for $2.49 a sleeve, Gem clips $0.69 per box, Pens. Dry line correction tape, and Staples all at really low pricing. When shipment came in, I was surprised by the quantity of each item. I did not agree to pay for the amounts they sent. My invoice should have been around $300.00 and instead received an invoice for almost $4000.00.
Have tried calling the number on the invoice and goes to voice mail every time. Have left message with no return call to me. Purchase order # is printed on invoice as VERBAL.
There is two items on the invoice that were never received (Dry Line Correction Tape and Swingline Staples) for over $1400.00.
The company need to pay for return shipping of all items sent.

Got a call that Duncan Industries was moving from Dickinson, ND to Colorado Springs. A girl named Heather [redacted] shared awesome prices with me on often used products. She said from now on, they would be known as AOS. I placed an order. I received an invoice a month later for $2100. When I called to disagree, a gentleman with a very heavy east coast accent told me Heather was out due to a life threatening car accident. He said he was her lawyer. His voice is the one prompting callers to leave a message. They did end up lowering the bill to less than $900, but I would NEVER purchase anything from them ever again. I felt duped and they ended up making off with a pile of money for run of the mill office supplies.

Someone from AOS called our company and claimed they spoke with our CFO. They used his name and said they were going out of business and had a lot of items that we use all the time. They spoke very quickly and rushed the phonecall. Shortly after we got a shipment of 3 boxes of random office supplies. One month after that we received an invoice for around $2500, with a PO # of "Verbal". "Verbal" is not a valid PO number, and we never ordered a single supply from this company. They are clearly not going out of business, as multiple reviews have had the same interaction with them. I left a message for them, and someone named Steve called back. After telling him that I knew of all the other companies they have tried to scam, and demanded UPS labels to return the product, he said they would be emailed to us. We are now waiting for those labels. Please shut this fraudulent business down, they're wasting everybody's time and participating in illegal practices.

Received a call from Randi Mills stating they were moving the business from NC to Colorado and have numerous office supplies on sale. Told her she could fax me a quote and I would discuss it with my manager. I did some research on the internet and the fax cover sheet shows the company is out of Colorado. I called the number on the quote and got an answering machine. I left a detailed message of who I was and who I had spoken with and that we DO NOT want to order any supplies. No one has returned my call.

*SCAMMMMMMMMMMMM*

DO NOT order anything from this company, it is a total scam. I received a phone call from a woman who worked for AOS and she informed me that their company was moving to CO and that they were having a close out sale in hopes to sell the inventory before moving cross country. I was told the prices per box and I made sure to ask again that I was being quoted per box and not per item. The prices were fair so I went ahead and put in a large order. Fast forward a month and my bill that was originally quoted at $600 was now $3000. The prices I was quoted per box were now applied per item in each box. For example, I was told that a 12 pack of pop up post it's would cost me .69$ but I was actually charged .69$ per pad, bringing me to a total of $8.28 for a dozen post it pads. I challenge you to find me a store that sells post its at that price point, and someone who is crazy enough to pay that.

Someone from AOS called our office and stated they were moving from Brevard, NC to Colorado and needed to reduce their inventory of office supplies. The prices quoted per box of supplies seemed reasonable and so we placed an order. When we received their invoice, they applied the prices quoted for each box to each item in the box which inflated the invoice to an unreasonable amount. I have attempted to call the phone number on the invoice and I do not get a response. I will not be paying this invoice unless they are willing re-invoice for the exactly amount quoted and agreed to.

Someone from this company apparently got my name as the CFO of my company. They got hold of my supply clerk and told him that I needed them to receive a list of our commonly-ordered office supplies. He provided and subsequently received a shipment and invoice. These folks never spoke with me. Their invoice indicates the purchase order was "verbal" though we do not do verbal orders for supplies. I have tried calling the number provided on the invoice but I reach a voicemail, not a person. Fortunately, our other internal controls prevented us from being fully scammed and no funds were ever released.

A lady calls you and tell you that are selling merchandise because they are moving and sounded great for prices quote but when you received merchandise they are not name brand and you received large quantity. That wasn't enough they contacted me again on 4/22/2016 and told me she was sending a thank you gift for helping them out in their time of need. Something about her sick father and I didn't even lessen to all she had to say because of the crap she sent before. Now today 5/2/16 our shipping department received two boxes of the same they sent last year. I tried to call but just got voice mail so I told our receiving dept. to send it back at out cost and never accept anything from AOS, Inc. again. This company is BAD NEWS!!!!!! Just hang up when they call and so don't waist your time and go to your local stores.
