[redacted] was the previous tenants living at [redacted] Ave., ***, Columbus, [redacted] On moving out, the management did the move-out walk-through and found the following problems:Metal bed frame was completely broken - US$replacement valueMattress was well damaged with a big rip on the right side - US$replacement valueApartment cleaning charge after move-out: US$As per our policy, tenant must pay for the replacement of the damaged items or their security deposit, US$100, will be forfeited.The total damage and cleaning cost from her tenancy is: US$270.00Such being the case, there is no refund at all

Dear Revdex.com, Mr [redacted] came to apply for apartment in February, 2017, and was approved He moved in and filed complaint for "bedbug" infestation one week later and turned in move-out notice right away for moving out a week later The management immediately responded and took action for treatmentHe did not complain any more before moving out While he stayed with us, Mr [redacted] had a lot of visitorsHe did show me the bite marks around his neck area and claimed he had to go to hospitalfor it After he moved out, we checked his apartment and completed the inspection report as attached Mr [redacted] terminated the lease earlier than it should be Company suffered rent loss Since he claimed the bedbug was intolerable, why could he stay in for one more week? Our management takes every complain seriously no matter what kind it is, trying to make every tenant/resident happyHowever, for the case like Mr [redacted] , we werevery confused by his own complication and paradox

As the complainant failed to provide her rental address, we were not able to locate her history of renting our apartment here at Columbus Apartel.However, when a tenant applied to move into our apartment, we would again and over again told him or her that the SECURITY DEPOSIT was refundable onlymoving out tenant must give Rental Office a move-out notice at least two days in advance prior to the move-out datemust keep rent payment currentmust obtain a positive move-out walk-through with managerial staff member to ensure nothing missing and nothing damaged as all of our apartments were fully-furnishedmust clean the apartment and turn in the key to the rental office If everything is satisfied, our company will issue refund in the form it was paid within days as of actual move-out date as per State Law

I am rejecting this response because: the address was [redacted] ave apt [redacted] and I was told of a hole and mattress that I needed to replace but asked several times for proofAnd as for the walk through after move out Asian lady said no I'm not walking through days you'll get refund Regards, [redacted]

Hello, BBB I have received your email with thanks. Mr. [redacted] moved into our apartment on September 16, 2016. He applied for the... apartment and got approved. He signed the lease with us to stay at least one month with $100 deposit. However, on September 23, 2016, Mr. [redacted] moved out suddenly, staying only 7 days. Now came in Mr. [redacted] , demanding refund of his $100 security deposit. Unfortunately, our company could not refund any of the money to Mr. [redacted] for the reason of 1. he terminated the lease way too earlier 2. he did not turn in any pre-move-out notice 3. he did not clean the apartment at all. In other word, the apartment was not returned in the condition as it was given. All legal documents including lease agreement are in our office. In case you need any, let us know. Thank you

They are so ignorant we only lived there twice and yes we had a kitten which we paid every week on top of thr rent which they do not refund any back and the first to time we resided there we paid our rent plus cat fee have our move out notice and was refunded our this time we didn't even get a refund on mailbox keyBad business when they turn your power off not once but twice which is illegal in the state of Ohio under revised code They are under investigation through the police department and health department so before you down grade a married couple for trying to do the right thing and move out of a run down ran motel - apartel furnished apartments which is why to your under investigation better check your self And believe me I won't be returning to your [redacted] apartments I have way better living quarters without roaches and bedbugs [redacted]

*** *** is a hotel/motel and apartment hopper! Just want to move in somewhere and then creates drama and fake complaints to have some " leverages" to threaten the owner orthe manager so he could get what he wanted. This is his third time moving into our placeBefore he failed to
make rent payment and thus received the Rent Delinquency Letter, he was " happy" and " nice", chitchatting witheveryone he could meet on our parking lotHowever, he turned into a different character after he received the Notice to Leave Premises due to non-payment of rent, and then everythingwent wrong, including "hallway hand-railing" which had nothing to do with his own residence.While he and his girlfriend lived here in our complex, he had a cat and never reported "roach" and " bedbug" issue, and never requested any services even though we had *** service on contract I guess failure to pay rent made him believe that these fabricated lies could save him from being evicted. We permanently put *** *** into our No-rent List for his " conspiracy-style" way of business and life
