To whom it may concern,
This letter is to respond to the complaint received on 07/21/
We truly apologize for all the inconveniences caused in regards to the repair of the Kitchen-Aid refrigerator
Unfortunately,
I must point out that when a repair is done another problem may arise and when it relates to the original problem we cover the issue as disclosed in our invoice; which has a days warrantyHowever, when a repair is done and another problem may arise that does not have any relation to the initial issue, the days warranty no longer applies
Ms*** initial visit was on 02/24/***, the technician that serviced Ms***’s refrigerator, replaced the thermostat (P# ***), removed the access panel, cleaned and cleared the ice buildup, cleaned the drain, installed the drip in drain heater, defrosted the thermostat, and lastly adjusted the temperatureAfter he finished the repair, he checked the refrigerator and reported that everything was working well
It was not until 06/22/that we received a phone call from Ms*** regarding her ice maker not working properly and requesting for *** to call her*** called her on 06/22/and informed her that he would stop by as soon as he was available However, when *** called again to confirm his visit, Ms*** did not answer the phoneSince then, we did not receive any calls from the customer and by such action we presumed that the customer did not wish to proceed with an appointment and thereafter she had someone else repair or replace the unit
We understand how disappointing it is when your expectations are not metHowever, the initial issue and repair that was made on 02/24/regarding the refrigerator had no relation to the complaint that we received on 06/22/regarding the ice makerThese two problems are completely separate from one another and therefore are to be treated as two different repairs
Additionally, Ms***’s days warranty for the initial repair that was made on her refrigerator had already expired by the time of her complaint for the ice makerWe understand that Ms*** is disappointed in the fact that her ice maker has not been working properly but we cannot be responsible for a new problem dealing with her refrigerator that was not related to the initial problem, especially if it has surpassed the days warranty
Once again, we are truly sorry that Ms*** encountered such problems and such an income is not our desireWe would be glad to schedule an appointment with Ms*** to come out and repair her ice maker and take care of any other issues regarding her refrigerator
Thank you for your attention regarding this matter and if there is any other action that we must take on our part please do not hesitate to let us know
Attached, you will find a copy of the invoice #***
Sincerely,
*** ***

Review: I had a representative from this company visit my house to look at an issue with my dishwasher. My fiancé was home, spoke with the representative, who diagnosed the issue in about 5 minutes, charged us a $75 trip fee and left.

I had a few questions regarding the repairs needed and attempted to call the company at the number they called me from to setup the appointment. Over the next three weeks, I called 9 times and left 5 messages, and received no call back.

I then completed the repair elsewhere. I finally did get in touch with someone at the company who promised to look into my complaint (I had called to request a refund of my trip fee, and truthfully, was shocked when someone answered the phone). She did call me back the next day and left a message. I again called back and left a message, and did not receive a call back, although I did call back the next day and the woman picked up the phone. She informed me that it was unfair and unprofessional for my to ask for my trip fee back, because the work (the diagnostic job) was completed. I said the diagnostic fee was paid assuming that the company would complete the repair if requested, and by not calling me back, I was unable to schedule a repair to be completed, and therefore was entitled to the money back. She continued to refuse, to which I mentioned that my thought was the company was a crook if they had no intention of calling a customer back after taking a trip fee. She lectured me for a few minutes on calling them a crook, and then hung up the phone.Desired Settlement: Since I did not receive a call back to schedule an appointment to complete the repair, I would like a refund of the trip fee.

Review: I had a repair person come on 9/3/13 and charge me $75 and said that would apply toward repair. He said he would order part and then repair. He said 5-7 days. I have heard nothing and he returns no calls. Now his mailbox on phone is full. He has cashed my check.Desired Settlement: He needs to refund my money. After this I do not trust him to repair my machine.
