Dear [redacted],This is in response to the letters that we received from the Revdex.com dated June 23 and July 2, 2014 related to the customer complaint mentioned above.
At the very outset I would beg your apology for the delay in responding to the letter. It was important that we talk to all the people whose names were mentioned in the complaint letter and they are presently dispersed across different states. Further, I had some prescheduled travel that caused delay as well.
I did attempt to get in touch with you by calling your office last week and left voice messages and complete information with one of your Call Center Representatives but unfortunately we failed to reach each other, I am absolutely sure that you were extremely busy as well.
However, I would like to inform you that we will furnish you with our response on the mentioned complaint no later than Wednesday July 30, 2014.
Thanking you for your understandingSincerely,Sangeet D
Vice President Operations

Review: Apex CoVantage installer, who is contracted by [redacted] came to our house on March 1, 2014 to install new electric meter. My husband asked if he should turn off breaker and the installer said no. The installer tried 3-4 times to install new meter & finally got it inserted. Every time he tried to insert the new meter ,the meter sparked. The heat pump continued to run. My husband & I left for a little while after the installation. When we came back, there was a terrible odor coming from the heat pump and the heat pump was still running but not providing any heat. All the Freon is now gone out of the heat pump and we have no air. We are both diabetics and I have allergies and sleeping with the windows open is not very good with allergies. We called [redacted] and they sent repair people out and they said it was not working properly, due to the sparking which had occurred. Then a man from APEX came & took picture about 3-4 days later, of what I don't know, I wasn't outside when he was there. Our electric bill went from approximately $350 a month to $454 for a month because we had to use the backup heat on the heat pump which uses more electric. I asked the man who came to take pictures if someone would help pay for the difference in the bill, he said yes, probably, I also asked if Apex would repair. He said that would have to be decided. We received a denial letter stating they would not do anything because there was no evidence of damage. Well, a person could not take a picture of the sparking, because we didn't know that's what was going to happen. The picture taker didn't take any pictures of the inside of the unit. I have pictures of burnt wires. I have been on the phone with Brian Skipper, who, all he can say is, we're not fixing it, it isn't our fault, then he put me over to a Jay Wolford, who is just a worker & can't make any decisions. Then I called the home office again to ask for Brian's Supervisor and was given the Vice President, (not sure of spelling) Singette D[redacted]. He does not return phone calls and I have talked to him several times. I called Brian last week after he had asked if another Heat Pump company could come out and look at our heat pump. He said they might "entertain" the idea of repair but replacing was a no. We had already had our Heat Pump person here and gave a estimate and it had been faxed to Brian. Again Brian said no. I called Mr D[redacted] last Friday morning after talking to Brian. When I reached Mr D[redacted], he acted surprised and asked me if I had not been contacted about someone coming out to repair our unit. I told him nobody had contacted us and who was to do it. About that time, he said Brian was calling on another line and he would call me back. I have yet to hear back from him. I have talked to Jay W[redacted] on Monday to ask him if he knew what was going on. He was to get right back to me as soon as he talked to Brian. I had not heard from him, so yesterday I called his phone and he didn't answer. Later he sent me a message that he was interviewing. I called the picture taker, Chris, and he told me he'd have Mr D[redacted] call. Still no phone call from Mr D[redacted] as I type. I called Chris this morning, got his voicemail and no return phone call. I had to call Jay this morning. He said Brian still says no and he and Jay are now out of the situation and I would have to deal with Mr. D[redacted]. Frankly, a person can't deal with anyone if they won't communicate with you. I have probably left out things but this is basically what is going on.Desired Settlement: I have asked repeatedly to each person I have talked to that all we are asking is our heat pump unit just be repaired back to working state it was in before the new electric meter was finally installed and damaged the heat pump. If we could get that done, we'll just have to pay the difference in the electric bill, because we have lost hope of anything being done at their inept installation of new electric meter. We just want this heat pump fixed. Thanks.

Thank you for trying to help. You will not receive any response from them, just as I didn't. This is probably the reason they are not affiliated with you as they don't want to be obligated to the consumer.

Review: Sub contractor hired by PSNH (electric utility) to install smart meters. I was not at home when the meter was installed and had no opportunity to shut down my active computer server. Upon arrival home, I attempted to reboot the server and it failed to start. After checking the network router logs, I noticed the server was functional until the power was forcibly disconnected when I was not home. I found it unusual that they would just shut down the power without my consent and without me being there. I would have asked that they give me a few minutes to safely power down my equipment to prevent any issues. I called and filed a claim which was promptly denied claiming it was not their issue.Desired Settlement: Honor my claim and repair or replace the equipment damaged as a result of turning off the power and changing the meter.
