July 24, 2017Ms*** ***The Revdex.comDear Ms***,Thank you for informing us of the update to Mr*** ***’s complaint.Mr*** provided his credit card number for a deposit of $Attached please find the signed Purchase Agreement stating the amount of the deposit he provided as well as the Disclosure Agreement which states our cancellation policy.We do not retain the full credit card numbers on file, which is why we asked Mr*** to visit our Ross Park office to process the refund; however, as an exception for his convenience, we were able to have the credit card processing company issue a refund of $to his credit card and save him the trip to our officeThe refund was processed on Friday, July 21, Please allow to business hours for the credit to show.When Mr*** is ready to be fit with hearing aids, please kindly ask Mr*** to contact our Ross Park office to schedule an appointment.Sincerely,Julia *B***President & CEOHearing Instruments, Inc

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I told the man doing the hearing test that I would have to check my finances to see if I could afford these expensive Hearing Aids, but evidently they went ahead and took the $634.95 after I left their office on  June 20th about 8 o'clock, on the very next morning June 21st someone from Miracle Ear went to mybank and drew out $634.95 without my permission, and without my Pin number, I am checking with the bank to see how that occured. When I called their office I told them I could not afford to pay $5490 for Hearing Aids So why do I have to take my Visa Card to them, they should be able to give the refund the same way they got it. I haven't answered any phone call because I have been having Medical problems. I had a case of Heart Failure and have been running to Doctors for blood tests. I can't afford Hearing Aids for quite a while, and had my phone disconnected, because I have been pestered by Insurance companies and every sales companies of all kinds. Just give me the refund that they say I have coming. I will just have to do without a Hearing aid for a while until I feel better. I was never offered any other hearing aids, I was also told the buy one get one free was not recognized by the tester.

July 20, 2017Ms. [redacted]The Revdex.comDear Ms. [redacted],Thank you for informing us of Mr. [redacted]’s complaint.On June 20, 2017, Mr. [redacted] was tested and purchased (2) MIRACLE EAR ME2275 ITC Canal Digital hearing aids. Since that time, we have tried to reach him via...

phone, but he has not answered nor returned our calls. We are trying to reach him to explain that we absolutely CAN fit him with the hearing aids listed in the promotional ad for the price advertised if those are the hearing aids he wants to purchase. During his appointment we explained to Mr. [redacted] that we could fit him with the hearing aids he inquired about, but because of the limited circuit (as stated in the ad) of the promo model and the nature of his hearing loss, it was not his best option. He chose instead to purchase the ME2275 model.If Mr. [redacted] wants to cancel the order, he is not responsible for any fees because we did not deliver the hearing aids. This is clearly outlined on the Disclosure Agreement - all fees are refundable if the hearing aids are not delivered. As we stated in our letter to Mr. [redacted] mailed today, should he decide to cancel the order for the hearing aids, Mr. [redacted] will be given a refund of $634.95. He just needs to visit our Ross Park office during normal business hours and bring his VISA card so that we may process the $634.95 refund.Additionally, Mr. [redacted] mailed us a check for $100.00, believing that he owed us a $300.00 cancellation fee. That check was not cashed and is being mailed to Mr. [redacted] today with the letter to him.Please kindly ask Mr. [redacted] to contact our Ross Park office to process his refund or to change the order to the promotional aids.Sincerely,Julia *.
