This review relates to purchasing a Purvela water bottle at the Integrative Healthcare Symposium in New York City, February
This company had the water bottles & pitchers with specialized filters that not only filter out impurities, but also balances/neutralizes water pHNo actual products were available for purchase, but money was collected for future delivery & we were informed that we'd receive an email regarding delivery
I did receive an email & phone call a couple weeks after the symposiumThe email stated I needed to fill out attached paperwork before receiving my purchaseOne form requested verification of professional credentials, which was not unusualThe other form, however was a distributer agreement - which I made very clear I was not signing, as I had no intention of selling their product only purchasing an itemThis occurred late Feb/early March time frame & I've been attempting to obtain my purchased item since then
I finally was told on July that the company's rep who took orders at IHSymposium never placed MY orderThe reason: I refused to sign a distribution agreement
I asked why I need to sign a distribution agreement, just to purchase a product? I was told it was just a formality in case I wanted to show their product on my websiteI said that statement makes no senseIf I show their product on my website I'll refer inquiries to their company
I was given an apology that I was not informed by their rep of the fact that signing the distribution agreement was just a formality to protect their patents, etcThen I was told that the item I ordered is out of stock due to production issues related to obtaining certain materialsWhen I asked if I could get an estimate as to when the product would be available, I was told the stock they had in had all been previously sold & they're unable to estimate any future availabilityHowever they're more than happy to keep my contact information and notify me when the item becomes available againI said that would be fine
I still have no intention of signing a distribution agreementI feel this is some type of pyramid scam, wrapped in medical lab coats

Dear Ms. [redacted],
We apologize for any misunderstanding and confusion. As your complaint stems from fee structures imposed nearly five years ago, we needed time to investigate prior to responding.
Starting in early 2011, due to the rising costs of educational programming, a fee structure was put in place for the 2 hour seminars that Apex Energetics sponsors. It appears that perhaps you were unaware of the changes because of your written instruction in 2009 for Apex Energetics to refrain from calling you about our seminars, a request that we have tried to respect. While some practitioners qualify for an Apex Energetics sponsored rate for certain educational programs, it appears that, in 2011, you did not qualify.
Additionally, our records indicate that you were an employee of Apex Energetics and that you kept your employee account benefits for years post-employment (which is not the norm). Further, it appears that your current account is missing some of the required information and updated documentation for a practitioner account. Should you desire to bring your account current, we simply need you to complete an application posted at http://www.orderapex.com/NewAccountApplication.html.
We do hope to receive a completed application from you soon.

Our first encounter with Apex Energetics was when my husband Functional Neurologists recommended he take Acetyl-CH Active for his memory issues. My husband was diagnosed with early onset frontotemporal lobe dementia in the fall of 2017.
This neurologist had previously used this product for both his father who had ALZ and himself. He felt that his own memory has benefitted from its use.
My husband decided to give it a try and although he has a bit of a rough start with it, stomach wise, he was able to make it past that blip in the road and is now takes two tablets daily. We have both recognized major improvements in his short-term memory and his daily confusion he was previously experiencing.
He has been on Acetyl-CH Active now for about 5 months and continued to use it on a daily basis and will continue to use it as long as it continues to work in this manner.
Thank you apexenergetics for this valuable and helpful product!

This review relates to purchasing a Purvela water bottle at the Integrative Healthcare Symposium in New York City, February 2014.

This company had the water bottles & pitchers with specialized filters that not only filter out impurities, but also balances/neutralizes water pH. No actual products were available for purchase, but money was collected for future delivery & we were informed that we'd receive an email regarding delivery.

I did receive an email & phone call a couple weeks after the symposium. The email stated I needed to fill out attached paperwork before receiving my purchase. One form requested verification of professional credentials, which was not unusual. The other form, however was a distributer agreement - which I made very clear I was not signing, as I had no intention of selling their product only purchasing an item. This occurred late Feb/early March time frame & I've been attempting to obtain my purchased item since then.

I finally was told on 1 July 2014 that the company's rep who took orders at IHSymposium never placed MY order. The reason: I refused to sign a distribution agreement.

I asked why I need to sign a distribution agreement, just to purchase a product? I was told it was just a formality in case I wanted to show their product on my website. I said that statement makes no sense. If I show their product on my website I'll refer inquiries to their company.

I was given an apology that I was not informed by their rep of the fact that signing the distribution agreement was just a formality to protect their patents, etc. Then I was told that the item I ordered is out of stock due to production issues related to obtaining certain materials. When I asked if I could get an estimate as to when the product would be available, I was told the stock they had in had all been previously sold & they're unable to estimate any future availability. However they're more than happy to keep my contact information and notify me when the item becomes available again. I said that would be fine.

I still have no intention of signing a distribution agreement. I feel this is some type of pyramid scam, wrapped in medical lab coats.

Review: Approximately a year or more ago, Apex told me that I (healthcare provider) could no longer attend their 2-hour seminars (I had been attending for several years) claiming that I didn't purchase enough product from them. When I asked my other colleagues if they had ever been told this, they said no. When I spoke with a local sales rep at the time, he tried to coerce me into only purchasing product from Apex, and was incredibly condescending while grilling me about competitors I had been purchasing from. After some repeated phone calls the local sales rep, Babette Teno, advised me that I could attend the lunch seminars for $90, when everyone else was only paying $35. I told her this was discrimination, and that I would not attend. The company continues to allow me to purchase products from them, but still will not allow me to attend their seminars. I have also asked my colleagues on the East Coast about this and they told me that Apex does not enforce such a policy, so I believe that I am being singled out. Other colleagues in my area hardly purchase any product from them and are still allowed to attend the seminars.Desired Settlement: I would like to attend the 2-hour seminars as everyone else does in addition to being able to have access to all of Apex's education seminars. The seminars are open to all healthcare providers and are advertised as such. This is false advertising if there are no disclaimers specifying a quota of ,monthly product purchases.
