I am rejecting this response because: There was no contract signedI have consulted with a lawyer and have verified that the receipt I received was not a contract under any circumstancesThere was a receipt for the initial deposit with no contractual statementWhen I asked
for a refund I was told I would have all of the funds the following Monday in JanuaryI still have not received the full amount in returnI am still owed at this time $*** the owner has lied to me on multiple occasions and now has lied in response to this complaintI will not rescind this complaint until I have received a full refund.

Ref # [redacted] arrived at Apex Engines on the morning on 12-29-15 with a complaint of an engine noise. The engine had recently been installed by us at our facility. Our first action was to check the oil level by removing the dip stick to check the oil level we found that the dip stick...
registered oil at the very tip only, this indicated that there was not any oil in the engines oil pan. We removed the drain plug and drain the oil into a drain pan. Our finding was that it had drained from the engine was less then 1/2 Quart of oil. At this time we informed [redacted] that, by operating the engine without the proper level of oil that the engines warranty became null and void as indicated on the written warranty that he had on the engine. [redacted] has a copy of this warranty from which describes what would cause his warranty to become null & void we kept the small amount of oil that we drained and marked it. We refilled his engine to the full level with new oil & also changed his oil filter It is the responsibility of the owner/operator of the vehicle to maintain proper fluid levels. Furthermore [redacted] never notified us of any problem or oil consumption problem prior to the date of 12-29-15. [redacted] failed on his responsibility and, neglected to maintain the fluid levels as indicated on the engines warranty disclosure form. A form which he read signed, and stated that he understood.
