Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Returning the kit would not be practical since the kit is now installed, albeit with great difficultyMy text, email and voice mail requests for support received no response and I still haven't received the missing part [redacted] "Retainer, wire harness" that I reported missing from the "kit".The following actions by Signature Cycle would resolve this issue and ensure that customers know exactly what they are getting into:Send me the missing part [redacted] Edit their advertisement to reflect the actual contents of the kitClaiming that kit Model # [redacted] is "Exactly the same as the original (discontinued kit" is simply no trueThe original kit included a fully assembled right hand control assembly, the Signature Cycle kit does notThat is advertisementRemove the photograph of the fully assembled right hand control assembly and replace it with a photo of what is actually included in the kitInclude instructions with the kit with complete wiring instructions in addition to the factory instructionsThe assembly is not the same as explained in the factory instructions which leaves it up to the customer to figure out the wiringEven the factory service manual is no help with this issueI have a factory service manual for my motorcycle Regards [redacted]

The kit that Mr [redacted] speaks of is a kit that is discontinued by Harley-***son I sell the genuine Harley-***son replacement components that were included in the once-available kit that are not currently installed on the motorcycle Mr [redacted] received everything that he needs to assemble a factory-correct cruise control on his motorcycleMr [redacted] contacted me via telephone days prior to ordering this kit and all of the information about this was relayed to him over the phone I was closed for Christmas from noon on December through December Mr [redacted] attempted to contact me about the kit via telephone and email on the afternoon of December Those were received by me on Monday, December upon my return to the office On December 26, having had no reply, Mr [redacted] wrote a note on our Facebook page about us not responding to him I responded within minutes of his initial post and the correspondence, in its entirety, is pasted below.In our correspondence offered below, it is clear that I asked repeatedly what it would take to make him happy He wanted no refund He did not want to return the items He only wanted information that was not available to me over a holiday weekend I offered to get him that information on the following Monday and he refused that I did not curse at him; in fact I asked him not to curse at meConversation started December 26, 201512/26, 12:52pm [redacted] ***This is [redacted] with eHarleyParts.comWhat can I try to do for you?12/26/[redacted] accepted your request.12/26, 12:56pm [redacted] ***Regarding the cruise control thumb switchWhere do I connect the orange wire with white stripe?12/26, 12:58pm [redacted] ***I have no idea off handI'd need to look that up in a service manual with a writing diagramA service manual is required to install that cruise.12/26, 1:02pm [redacted] ***A service manual was not required to install the original HD kit since the wiring harness was ready to install.12/26, 1:07pm [redacted] ***But that kit has long since been discontinuedIt is not cost effective to supply a ready-built assembly these daysI've priced out all of the parts and with labor to assemble the switch housing like it used to be, I'd have to set the price of the kit around $$was nearly ridiculous as it wasNow the kit has increased another $to $because the module has been discontinued and getting hard to come byI have to source then [them] from the dealer network and part [pay] retail ($408) for oneI fear this will only be able to be fine [done] for a few more months and we'll have to resort to used parts.12/26, 1:09pm [redacted] ***That's fine but I found a vendor who is selling the kit with a completed harness for $plus shipping.12/26, 1:11pm [redacted] ***And?12/26, 1:13pm [redacted] ***Ok [redacted] , if you want to play that way we can do that!12/26, 1:14pm [redacted] ***What? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have been told by Apex many times that my "parts" are on order and am still waiting I prefer NOT to close this file until I have the CORRECT parts in MY hands( [redacted] Bucket Seat Chrome Seat Back Push Buttons as per the invoice I provided to Apex many months ago as well Sandalwood Head Rest Covers for the same style seat) [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] Ultimately, I would like Apex to finally show some accountability which has not existed from the beginning regardless of what Ryan N [redacted] says Sincerely, [redacted] ***
