Review: I hired Apex tax resolution to help write an offer and compromise to help with my State of Maine and federal back taxes. I paid them a total of $2,900 in August and September 2013 and they guaranteed to reduce the taxes by 90%. Apex claimed it would take 6-12 weeks to file the offer and compromise and hear back from both agencies. The offer and compromise were never filed with the State of Maine or the IRS. I made a complaint at the end of November and Apex said they would issue a refund. I never received a refund. The next month no one answered the phones or returned any of the messages I left. In January I filed a complaint with my bank but it was past 60 days so they could not help. At then end of January the phone service to Apex was disconnected.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the $2,900 I paid Apex Tax Resolution for services never received.

Review: Apex Home Solutions promised us mortgage consolidation help. The money was requested and paid up front prior to any work with the bank/mortgage company. We paid $4500 up front and APEX never did anything with our bank regarding mortgage modification. They took our money and never did anything. We made numerous calls to [redacted] and [redacted] who were supposedly working on our case - most calls were not returned and those that were we were told "they were working on it". When we checked with our mortgage company, no information was ever shared with them from APEX.Desired Settlement: We would like our $4500.00 refunded. This money would help us resolved the debt we went into trying to get assistance with our mortgage modification.

Review: This is a company who claims to help save your house I gave them $3,000.00 now all of a sudden their contact phone numbers are all disconnected. No answer to any emails. I have a statement stating they guarantee my money back if they do not fulfill the contract.Desired Settlement: I just want my hard earned money back...These companies have to pay for what they do to people they are scrammers.

Review: We received advertising letter in the mail for loan modification. After talking to company representative I signed contract over internet, but never received any written document or receipt in the mail. I provided them with my account information and Apex electronically charged my account on 07/29/2013, 8/29/2013, and 9/29/2013 each time in the amount of 1600.00, totaling $4800.00, how was agreed. Apex Home Solution agreed to return around $3900.00 if I was not satisfied with the outcome. Apex made deal with my bank, Wells Fargo, for 3 month trial for the modification program which began on 01/01/2014. After three months we were suppose to resubmit the paper work to close the remodification. So when the time came to resubmit the paper work I tried to contact Apex, over the phone, and through emails, multiple times, I got no reply to this day. I then found out that the 3 months were not even a trial period. It was some program when someone is on unemployment, which we did not even look for. So now I lost my $4800.00 and backed up on my mortgage and am going through the whole process all over again on my own with my bank.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement in full amount of $4800.00, all late fees that I have incurred from my mortgage provider, which I am still currently unaware of in total.
