Review: Apex chose 3 credit card companies they would settle and vowed that could handle the 3 out of 7-8 accounts I owed. They said they had done business with those companies and completed previous negotiations. I had to pay $628.08 for April of 2014, $458.25 for May 2014 and $358.25 starting June 2014. Last payment was made in Jan. for $358.25. On Jan. 29 my checking account was placed on hold, [redacted] took over $5,000 dollars from me, at this time I am unemployed, recently lost my job, that money was from my 401K to pay for major home repairs, mortgage, pay my [redacted] because I just enrolled, that amount was $592.00 to start, when you first join [redacted] you need supplemental insurance as well, car payment to make and household overhead to pay. Now [redacted] is asking for household items over $600.00 in vale to be able to garnish as well. Because of the severity of my situation I will have to fill bankruptcy. I have no access to my checking account, I had to notify

bills that were automatically coming out of that account to mail to me so I can pay in money order.

I expected Apex to respond to my frantic calls when I notified them for help or at least contact them to see what was going on. I feel like I was left to handle my problem on my own. I did call a representative that told me ,"all I have to do is send them more money.This whole thing is for them.

According to my contract, legal fees should have stopped Sept. 2015.

I am paying for legal work but was not allowed to talk to a lawyer, no matter how much I asked. The para-legals felt they answered my questions appropriately by telling me I needed to send more money and my balance was high, the balance was the same as the one stated in the contract. If it was too high, why present me with a contract in the first.

I feel like the communication to me was severely lacking, I never received any updates in writing, but I never had any problems with my creditors so I was ok. Not until I heard from [redacted] did I find out, it is not ok. Poor service.Desired Settlement: Apex needs to contact [redacted] and resolve this problem to allow me an opportunity to help fix this, I might lose everything due to their bad business methods.

I request to speak with one of the lawyer.

I need an update and a plan or resolution in writing. I really have no idea where I stand, who is truly paid and who is not.

How can someone who claims they want to help cause so much damage to peoples lives. I understand nothing is free, but I should be able to expect more than nothing.Shameful.
