I went an viewed the car and test drove it originally on 05/17/where I took a video walk around pointing out to [redacted] an associate at the dealership the noticeable flaws on the car on video I pointed out the crack in the bumper on the front passenger side as well as a broken trunk release and some interior bits that were falling apart all flaws were pointed out and acknowledgedI was already shopping another car and a different dealership but my interest in iautopartners was cause there car was less expensive based on their car gurus price [redacted] I assumed it would be easier to finance with [redacted] down because my credit is buildingThere was no follow up in the days from when I first viewed the carI did have my fiance do a credit app on Tuesday 05/23/and [redacted] called me same day letting me know we were approved so I made the drive from chicago to highland indiana to make the purchase as long as the numbers where okWe had every intention to purchase but we were starting to feel a little uncomfortable by the customer service so I did ask for an extended test drive to be sure this is the car I wantedI placed my own insurance on the vehicle and [redacted] asked me to give the deposit in which I did in cashI did take pics of the mileage before leaving iauto partners and when I got backI was in the car for one hour and put miles on the carBrought the car back in exact condition the car was given to meI also put a full tank of premium gas in the carAll in all this could have been a simple transaction that did not have to lead to thisi only requested my deposit back because I made a deal on another vehicle at a better rate and price and overall conditionTheyre trying to bully me cause they maybe sore that I did not do business with themIm sure I will not be held responsible for issues That was present on the vehicle before I came alongThis is why I reported my claim to Revdex.com to expose there shady tactics that are common in car salesI placed no damage on that vehicle and I only wanted my deposit back after buying another car and thats itIm prepared and willing to bring my evidence to court as I will attach my pictures video (if possible) and receipts belowI do hope theres a resolution in this matter Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 16, 2017/07/31) */ ***Document Attached***

transactions. We held this car for him on hold for over 2 weeks. While we had several serious inquiries on the car, as a courtesy we did not sell the car underneath him.
He has lied many times, he then took the car to chicago for a full day and put over 140 miles on the car with damage to the front bumper. His Deposit will BE HELD for the damages!!
There was no racial slurs of any sort, no idea where that came from.
This whole deal is a straw purchase and fraudulent and intend on pursuing legal and criminal
charges.
In conclusion there will not be any monies refunded, and a balance of [redacted] dollars will be

I do not accept the response! There was no follow up in the 7 days from when I first viewed the car. I did have my fiance do a credit app on Tuesday 05/23/17 and [redacted] called me same day letting me know we were approved so I made the drive from chicago to highland indiana to make the purchase as long as the numbers where ok. We had every intention to purchase but we were starting to feel a little uncomfortable by the customer service so I did ask for an extended test drive to be sure this is the car I wanted. I was in the car for one hour and put 69 miles on the car. Brought the car back in exact condition the car was given to me. I also put a full tank of premium gas in the car. All in all this could have been a simple transaction that did not have to lead to this. I only requested my deposit back because I made a deal on another vehicle at a better rate and price and overall condition. Theyre trying to bully me cause they maybe sore that I did not do business with them. Im sure I will not be held responsible for issues That was present on the vehicle before I came along. We sold the 2009 GMC Sierra to Mr. [redacted] indeed. He was here the morning of and did a
full inspection before he purchased the truck. I [redacted] did start the...

of Mr. [redacted]. He then along with a friend took the truck for a 30 minute test drive. When he
arrived back to the dealership, he said "i love it" and ill take it. He took full delivery that day.
He then calls me a week later and tells me there is a problem with the engine. remind you he live 60+ miles from us. I told him bring it in and I can possibly have my service advisor take a look at it. He advised us that there is nothing wrong with the motor, and that there is a common small tick on all these models given the mileage it had on the truck. Out of Good faith I told Mr. [redacted] that the only thing we can do is sell you a warranty if it becomes a major issue later down the road and that it would be covered. the motor till this day is still working just fine like it should!!! There is no need for a warranty and for him being a mechanic he should know that there isn't anything wrong
with that engine.. he declined the warranty and I told him im sorry but I can't help you any further. the vehicle was sold as is as shown deal is final. He got upset and told me he will report us.
we have not done anything wrong or illegal in this matter. or any matter here at I Auto Partners.
These are used cars and trucks and unfortunately in this day of age with all the mechanicals and
technology of these vehicles, they do need attention. we service all our cars and trucks before
retail. If they do not pass inspection, they do not get retailed period!
this is a fine truck he purchased and we have no more obligation to Mr. [redacted].
We will not fix or reimburse Mr. [redacted] at all.
This case with myself ([redacted]) owner of I Auto Partners is closed and final on my end.

In response to I-Auto partners statement, I would like to clarify a few things. First, I did hear the engine for a brief period, before [redacted] took it and drove it thorgh town to put fuel in it (therefore warming the engine up). Following that task I did take it for a test drive and as said before it did drive great. It wasn't until I heard the engine cold for an extended amount of time did I realize it had the ticking noise. Second, I have attached documents stating that clearly there is a major problem with the engine and its not just a common "tick". When [redacted] said that the the only thing they could do is to sell me a warranty for a preexisting issue that was offered AFTER he promised my wife and I that I they would make it right by canceling the loan or repairing the engine. Neither were clearly done. With the attached documents from different GM dealerships stating that it does in fact have an issue and needs an engine, obviously it is not working just fine and has gotten progressively worse.
