Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,
*** ***

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2015/10/23) */
To say the least we were surprised to see the complaint from *** along with the bad reviews on other sitesOur recollection of how the job went is quite a bit different than hersI would like to meet with or at the least speak with ***
prior to submitting our full answerI have attempted to get *** to call me with no luckI will make a few more attempts and if I am not successful, we will submit our response with the Revdex.com
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 18, 2015/10/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The letter from Mr*** I uploaded states that *** is open to discuss the matter of compensationThat monetary figure is what would move this forwardAgain, we have paid Apex $9,We paid a contractor this weekend $5,to repair the flooding damage in the basement from our garden hose which was left on by a basement windowWe also paid another company to fix the sewer
When Apex left that day, we could not put water down any drains because they repaired the two ends of the sewer pipe and said the blockage that was in the middle was not their faultTheir recollection that the job well is curiousBeing able to flush after a sewer job would be an indication to me that it went wellThey needed to fix the clog without the additional $3,cost and digging a hole in the concrete foundation in the garage
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 25, 2015/11/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have not heard a proposed resolution from the companyWhat concession is offered?
Final Business Response /* (4000, 27, 2015/12/07) */
When we initially arrived, the line was already backed up into the basement through the broken kitchen lineApex made the repair at of that line and re-scopedThe tap was found to be crackedThe customer chose to have the tap repaired as wellThe rest of the line looked good
A month after we worked at the property, the line backed up again and a 3rd repair was needed due to a break under the garageWe did give the customer price to fix that breakThe customer did not choose to move forward with that repair
At no time did the repairs performed by Apex failBoth repairs made by Apex are intactThe Apex warranty only covers pipe repaired by ApexThe break in the clay pipe under the garage would not be covered under warranty
As far as the mitigation goes:
Apex was not the cause of any backups at the houseThe customer could have had the full line replaced if they wanted to make sure the line never backed up again

We have agreed to issue a check for $to the customer, even though we were not given the opportunity to correct the issue ourselves.? ***

To say the least we were very surprised to see this complaint come across? ? Our initial contract with *** in June of was to replace the sanitary sewer line at his home? Per the original contract we would "re-lay existing landscape" after the pipe was replaced? Once
complete *** was not happy with the outcome? We dispatched our tie up crews numerous times to add dirt and install new sod? *** was finally satisfied.? ? Here we are years later and *** called in complaining about the area around the excavation? Our office sent out a crew and added some dirt to the area? *** was not happy with this, so I met with him at his house to go over his concerns? *** had concerns about the ground around the cleanouts and next to the slab settling? *** also stated he noticed the cleanouts were leaning, when he was dumping his camping trailer's waste tank down the City line? I did tell *** I thought he was being a pain the butt? He knows I was joking with him? ? On October 20th, we sent a crew, equipment and a dump truckThese were Apex employees, not a subcontractor? The crew excavated next to the cleanouts, straightened them, added dirt and compacted? *** was onsite? If he was not happy, he could have told the crew what else he wanted, or called me? ? He and I communicate fine, so again I was surprised to see this complaint come through the Revdex.com.? ? *** is welcome to call me again.? ***? ? ? ? ? ?

To say the least we were very surprised to see this complaint come across.   Our initial contract with [redacted] in June of 2014 was to replace the sanitary sewer line at his home.  Per the original contract we would "re-lay existing landscape" after the pipe was replaced.  Once...

complete [redacted] was not happy with the outcome.  We dispatched our tie up crews numerous times to add dirt and install new sod.  [redacted] was finally satisfied.  Here we are 3 years later and [redacted] called in complaining about the area around the excavation.  Our office sent out a crew and added some dirt to the area.  [redacted] was not happy with this, so I met with him at his house to go over his concerns.  [redacted] had concerns about the ground around the cleanouts and next to the slab settling.  [redacted] also stated he noticed the cleanouts were leaning, when he was dumping his camping trailer's waste tank down the City line.  I did tell [redacted] I thought he was being a pain the butt.  He knows I was joking with him.    On October 20th, we sent a crew, equipment and a dump truck. These were Apex employees, not a subcontractor.  The crew excavated next to the cleanouts, straightened them, added dirt and compacted.  [redacted] was onsite.  If he was not happy, he could have told the crew what else he wanted, or called me.   He and I communicate fine, so again I was surprised to see this complaint come through the Revdex.com.  [redacted] is welcome to call me again. [redacted]

We have agreed to issue a check for $600 to the customer, even though we were not given the opportunity to correct the issue ourselves. [redacted]
