I get email spam from them every couple of weeks. When I reply to the email asking them to stop spamming me, my response is undeliverable. I tweeted to them asking them to stop and received no response.Desired SettlementI want them to stop spamming me.Business Response We have never received any correspondence from this individual requesting to be removed from our mailing list; had we gotten such a request from him, we would have gladly unsubscribed him from our mailings, as we've done for other such individuals. Now that we're aware of his request, he will no longer receive our correspondence.Consumer Response Replying to emails didn't work, tweets went without reply. How else am I supposed to ask to be removed from the mailing list?As long as I don't receive any more email the complaint can be closed. I'll file another complaint if I receive more spam.Final Consumer Response

Upon failure of Apex Review to provide the promised services, I asked for a refund which they promised to send. They have failed to do so.On April 10, 2016, I responded to an offer from Apex Reviews for an Express Review Package and Basic Book Trailer PackageThis was to include a book review completed within 2 weeks or less and a premium book trailer production, featuring high quality stock photo imagery and video footage with professional, customized voiceover narration audio.I received a confirmation of my purchase and a request for a copy of my book and additional information.May 14, I sent the following email. It has now been over a month since I purchased a review and trailer for my book [redacted] and I have not heard anything from you. I would appreciate knowing when I can expect to read your review and watch the trailer. Apex replied:Thank you for following up with us. We'll have your review and trailer draft ready for you to review this week. May 26, I sent the following email:On April 10, I purchased your Express Review Package. The following day I received an email from you which instructed me to send a copy of my book to a certain address and promising that once the review was complete it would be posted on your site within 2-3 days. It also stated "The turnaround time for completion of a draft of your trailer isn't long at all: we've finished all previous trailers in approximately 1-2 weeks".I mailed the book and waited patiently and heard nothing further so, on May 14, I sent you another email stating that it had now been over a month since I purchased the package and asked when I could expect to receive the promised review and trailer. On May 17, you replied to that email and stated "We'll have your review and trailer draft ready for you to review this week".It has now been almost seven weeks since I purchased your Express Review Package and ten days since you promised I would have the review and trailer draft. As you can see, this is a far cry from the promised time frame to complete both the review and trailer. Therefore I am requesting a full refund and removal of my name from any future advertisements from your company.Apex replied:I sincerely apologize for the delay we've encountered in delivering your completed review and book trailer draft to you. Per your request, we've canceled your order, as well as submitted your refund request to [redacted].June 1, I sent another emailIt has now been several days since I received your email stating that you had submitted my refund request to [redacted] and there is still no record of such a refund. When I ordered your review and trailer package I used a credit card and I have also checked to see if there has been a refund recorded there. Please let me know when I can expect to find the promised refund posted to either my Pay Pal or credit card accountApex replied:We're not sure why your refund hasn't been processed, because we submitted the request to [redacted] last week. We'll follow up with their staff in order to resolve the matter ASAP.June 14, I tried one more time to get results by sending the following email:It has now been two months since I purchased your book review and trailer package and two weeks since I requested a refund due to your delay in providing the promised services. I am STILL waiting to have my money refunded. As I explained to you in an email on June 1, I used a credit card for this purchase and yet you continue to tell me you "submitted a refund request to [redacted]" so I am somewhat confused as to why you do not simply refund the money to my credit card account. I look forward to a speedy reply from you stating that my money has either been refunded to my credit card account or you have sent me a check for the full amount.Apex replied:Please accept my apologies for the fact that you've yet to receive your refund. Apparently, there's some issue with our [redacted] account, which is preventing your refund from being processed; so, we'll just have to mail the funds to you. Can you please apprise me of your current mailing address?I have yet to receive a refund.Desired SettlementI am simply asking that my $69 be refunded due to their failure to provide the promised services in a reasonable time.Business Response We're not quite sure why this individual has gone to the extreme of filing a Revdex.com complaint against us regarding this matter. As we've indicated, we're prepared to provide him with a full refund of the original amount of his order; however, we've yet to receive the mailing address to which we must send the funds. As soon as he provides us with that info, we'll gladly proceed accordingly.Consumer Response On June 15, 2016, I replied to an email I had received from Apex which stated "Thank you for following up with us, and please accept my apologies for the fact that you've yet to receive your refund. Apparently, there's some issue with our [redacted] account, which is preventing your refund from being processed; so, we'll just have to mail the funds to you. Can you please apprise me of your current mailing address? We'll then forward your shipment accordingly." In all of my correspondence to them I replied to any message they sent me, so I do not understand how they did not receive the message with my mailing address. For their records it is:[redacted]Final Business Response Now that we have his mailing address, we'll forward the funds accordingly.
