Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
This is correct accept for the information they left out that when I asked about opening my account again they did send me a payment li k but instead of me filling it out and charging it they charged my card anyways without permission the bank flagged it as fraud and it's being investigated if the company is going to auto charge people for fees they haven't agreed to that is fraud and it should be knownI have email evidence that can prove them admitting to doing thisWhich Is being investigated by the bank and been reported to the RCMP Canadian federial policeThis whole issue was very unprofessionally dealt with and I do not think anyone should work or do business with this company.

Matthew Altomare

On September 27th *** *** signed up for a website with aphotofolio.comHe chose the monthly payments of $plus $17/month planWe have a day money back guarantee with all our plans
On September 27th, October 29th and December his credit card was charged
$plus $
On December 5th he asked for a refund and said "I still havent paid all the payments yet"
We explained he was past the days and a refund was not possible
On March 28th he asked to reactivate his website and we sent him a payment link for the final $payment
He asked for instructions to make his site "live" several times and each time we responded that he needed to make the final payment to do this
He entered his credit card information in the link provided on March 31st but the card was declined and we were unable charge the card
He refused to update his billing and make the final $payment or the recurring $17/month payments so his account was terminated

When he signed up he agreed to pay us $1000 plus $17/month for the service. He violated this agreement by not paying the full $1000 and by not paying the full $17/month.
When the attempted and failed charge was made to his card his response was:
"Let me know what my login info is to manage my account.I have the charge on my credit card so I’m not sure why my web page is not live.please email me back or call me asap at 647 500 0019 thank you.."
We fixed the problem with the site and he even indicated next that he paid the full $1000 but only after we told him the $250 charge had failed did he refuse to make the final payment.

Review: I had signed up for service with my website back in September I had paid for the service $250 dollars a month for 4 months on the fourth month in I canceled with them for the service. In March I had went back opened a trail account and saw that they had fixed and added services I wanted for the site. After an employee had emailed me a link to pay and charge me the last $250 plus $17 for service monthly. I paid everything then updating my website and getting all new content and fixing the site to my liking they had a server problem and lost info or something and I lost all my content that was uploaded lots of money in photos and such. Then when I contact them wondering why my website isnt working they state that there was a server change (server crash) so they will be up soon. Then says he is going to go and see about refunding me for my money I paid already and said I never paid and havent paid and so there canceling my account due to failure o pay. I asked if there going to continue to have this issue I would like to just have my deposit back and I will switch to another service but they will not do anything for me. I feel that I have been scammed out of my money $1000 down the drain plus all the monthly service fees. I would not like to continue with this company due to poor service and not handling my situation correctly. Then tries to charge my card without my say.Quote from aPhotoFolio. "I sent you a link to update your billing in ticket #41578. It looks like you may have updated the credit card on file, but on March 31, 2014, we attempted to charge the final $250, however this transaction was declined by your credit card company. You can view invoice # 99230 here: sent dead end link"I had explained that I had already made this payment and no one was listening I tried to send them my bank statement of the charge no one was accepting it. March $267 was before March 31, 2014 then they recharge? Does that make any sense?Squarespace.com better quality & serviceDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund of every penny that was given.Sep $267Oct $267Nov $267March $267My card has aPhotoFolio flagged as fraud will not accept transactions from them.
