We will pursuit wire fraud and criminal charges for theft without hesitation towards Mr***As the law stands, he is required to give the shop a chance to fix things before any real criminal action can be takenNumber two, he cannot pay for something then keep the parts after he disputes the chargeThat is called theftWe will gladly fight this in court if he chooses to do soHe can take the car to any shop he wants but we reject anything he or the shop says as this can all be arranged to mutually benefit from this disputeIt is clearly suspicious that right after he picked up the car he had it towed he says to another shopThis was clearly planned and we reject his explanationA judge would be better at deciding who is rightEither way, we will begin first with a grand theft report and wire fraud complaint to Temecula PDOfficer *** is aware of this and I will be making contact if he decides to escalatehe never gave me a chance to fix anythingHis text clearly said right after the pick up that I was not allowed to touch his carSo, that is his choiceI'm willing to fix what it is he is complaining aboutI always wasHe told me he was moving same day out of state so in my eyes help was out of the questionWe never ever in text or conversations led mr*** to believe hecouldn't bring car back to fix any issue he was concerned aboutThis was his choice from day one after pick upThis is clearly same thing that he did to the last shopIf he wants to escalate, we would be glad to mirror his actions towards another resolution

Hi Miriam I just got this letter regarding this incident. The client got everything he paid for and was specifically told to have engine tuned at a DYNO shop right after he picked it up. Everything was great on the text and and on the phone. I can clearly show you texts where everything was good and...

phone conversations. The gentleman picked up the car and was told to get the car dyno'ed in order to make everything run optimal. This dyno procedure is a must for this application of off road use vehicles with modified engines. Mr' [redacted] has a client history from other shops in the socal area of purchasing parts and then complaining to try to get money back. We escalated to the point of filing wire fraud charges with the local PD. He also had no issues until he moved out of state. Then that's when all the complaints started. After he picked up the car and said he was moving out of state next day. He never came back for any of his old parts. Instead he decided to just complain but his parts are here in a box ready to pickup. We will be in contact with his superiors in the MARINES as this type of behavior is not kosher for someone carrying the honor of being a MARINE. Never did he try to work anything out with me here in person. Just left, complained and that's it. but everything was good until it was time to take the car to the dyno which should have been same day. Which by the was I could have done it all for him but since he told me he was moving that same day I couldn't do it that fast. Otherwise he would have had a perfectly running car. So he was advised to take it to any DYNO shop in his area to have the computer programmed. The whole engine and oil system is brand new from HONDA, I do not believe for one moment there was foreign debris in the system as we have never encountered it from OEM HONDA or Aftermarket performance. He agreed and payed for the invoice. This is text book behavior of what he did to the last shop before me. Not acceptable.

I am rejecting this response because:
Sir/Ma'am, I have photographic evidence and a text message trail to prove conversations and real work that had been either performed improperly or not at all. This is also backed by a certified mechanic, in whom I mentioned before I had to TOW my car to. Mr. Orlando knew months prior to my departure when I needed my car done. The fact of the matter is that my "new" motor is now ruined and un-usable, this is besides the fact of the car not in running order when I explicitly told Mr. Orlando when I needed to pick up my car. Regardless if my car was not running, I should not have brand new parts ruined due to improper mechanic work performed by Apocalypse Racing. This statement is backed by a certified mechanic in whom received my car that very same day I picked it up. Mr. Orlando is falsifying his own statements, he did mention that the car would need to be DYNO tuned to run "optimal"; that does not mean the car would not be driving. The week prior I was told, with text message validation, "Ok. It runs fine as is". That statement alone would lead one to believe that the car was running and driving, upon arrival the car was not running to say the least. I have witnesses that were there when I dropped my car off and when I picked it up. Mr. Orlando's own co-worker had no idea what was going on. His co-worker had no idea where my parts were nor was he prepped for my arrival like Mr. Orlando told me over the phone. I should have had an itemized receipt and the rest of my parts standing by like any reputable business would have done, this was not the case. With evidence, my car is now ruined and not functioning. As stated before, I have photographic evidence, video evidence, text message trails and an itemized list of repairs needed by a certified mechanic.  [redacted]There is one very serious problem to emphasize, and this is backed by visual and photographic evidence from a certified mechanic. The Engine mounting bolts, the bolts used to keep the engine attached to the vehicle, were improperly fastened. There is one bolt missing and the other bolt is fastened in a manner that would not be accepted by any level of mechanic. This alone could have cause catastrophic failure in the engine mounting system which could have caused serious injury or death. This is either negligence or lack of competence from Mr. Orlando, I would be inclined to say both are the case. I am only so lucky that the car was not running and had it checked by another mechanic. I could have been injured or killed, even worse, someone else could have been. I have already presented all this evidence to the credit card company, in which I am disputing the work and payments with Apocalypse Racing and Mr. Orlando. I will be attaching all of these files here as well. I am also considering criminal and civil action based on the findings from my mechanic.
