When the customer called she asked me what we do for sound in the ceilingI stated that if it was animals we would come out for trips to set up a live trap if it was a nuisance animal 2nd trip would be to pick up the animal and dispatch
them according to Ohio lawThat price was $plus sales taxThe job for mouse control which was to set traps and poison was $plus sales taxWe didn't not what we were dealing with until we got there and searched and once we discovered it was mice we set trap and poison in basement ceilingsWe said we would be happy to come back if needed for a charge of $35.00(gas charge), which is on the receipt which she signed and said she understood and wrote us a check that she later cancelledI have never had a customer so totally unreasonably in all my yrs of business

On april 21,2016 we were at an Apmnt bldg to service the suites for a rodent problem All of the tenants were notified to have...

their apmmnt ready. We had serviced probably 50 suites where they were ready and waiting. The tenants who had dogs and cats had them in their bedrooms for the most part so we could provide our services. When we got to this tenants suite he did not answer when we knocked so the Maintance man opened the suite at which time a very lg dog came running down the hallway towards us we closed the door and retreated to the hall there were 3 of us My service person me and the hd of maintance. Because we had the whole bldg to do we carried a service pail of rodenticides. We only carry into each suite what is needed to eliminate any unnecessary exposure to pets or humans. When the tenant yelled he had his dog under control I entered the suite and saw he had Indeed had his very lg dog by the collar at which time I thanked him and explained the bait would be where his dog could not reach it ie;;;;;behind and under fridge and in the plumbing pipe runs in the wall behind the acesss panel. I did my work and walked out of said suite where I saw the tenant beating his dog around its head and yanking on his collar and I asked what had happened, he started cussing at his dog and said his dog had gotten into our bucket I asked my service personal if she saw it happen and she said no the Hd of maintance said he hadnt seen anything either At which time we said to call the number on our pail as it takes and awful lot to hurt a dog of that sz he would have had to have eaten 20 lbs of poison to effect his dog. we didnt even have 20lbs with us He retreated to his apmnt we offered assistance at which time he started hitting his dog again. I asked if he wanted us to call for him at which time he got up and slammed the door in our faces. Then a week later I get an E-mail saying for $500.00 he would forget it even happened I wrote him and explained as part of his lease agreement he was to have had control of his dog at all times to protect the public and to protect me and other service personal from being bitten..I am a dog owner and I am sorry that this had supposedly happened but Not one of us saw anything to justify these accuasations. He had control when I walked in why he didnt maintain control is not my fault. I feel he is trying to blackmail me .If he had maintained control of his dog this would have never been an Issue Im just glad none of us got bitten by his out of control dog.I talked to mngnmnt of the bldgs and they backed me up 100% that in his lease it specifys their dogs are to be leashed and under control in any PUBLIC AREAS ie Hallways, stairwells, laundry roms and common areas around the bldgs. Im sorry this even happened but I donot feel like this is my Fault in over 58 yrs of buisness this is a first for our Co.We only saw one or two small pieces of bait in the hallway floor Nothing to justify all of this Sincerely Owner Carl [redacted]
