I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from ***, the front office receptionist at Apopka Dental ArtsMy insurance company assigned me to Apopka Dental Arts and I was scheduled for an appointment at 3:00pm
When I came in, I was asked to complete new patient forms and she made a copy of my license
After minutes waiting, she called my name and proceeded to ask me in front of other patients in the waiting area, if I was prepared to pay $for the visit, $for
x-rays, and $for cleaning
I stated these were not the fees assigned by my insurance plan and asked her to please check again?
She responded I was their first patient under the Healthcare Marketplace in front of the other patientsShe used no privacy to speak with me regarding my insurance plan or fees
I told her I would reschedule because I had to call the insurance company to review my plan
After calling the insurance company, they said my dental visit was $10, x-rays $5, and I am eligible for two free cleanings per yearTherefore, my total for my first visit, would of been just $instead of $
The insurance company asked me to call the dental clinic and explain the fees and ask for the office manager
I called back and asked for the office manager
***, answered the phone and said she was also the office manager
She denied that she had quoted me wrong and refused to call the insurance company to verify my plan
*** instructed me to find another dentist to do business with and hanged up the phone on me, before I could finish the conversation
I called the insurance company back and they called the office to speak to ***
I was advised by the insurance company they had send my dental plan with all the fees involved to the dentist two weeks prior to my appointmentThe insurance company apologized for ***'s unprofessional demeanor and poor customer service
They confirmed this was unacceptable behavior and they would file a complaint for the physician to review and address this matter

Office "manager" is so incredibly rude and has absolutely no sense of customer serviceDon't know how the dentist is because I took my business elsewhere based on the way I was treated by the manager
