Complaint [redacted] ***Upper Marlboro, MD ***###-###-#######-###-#### [redacted] @ [redacted] .netMay 12, Integrity Home Pro was hired to fold back the carpeting in the master bedroom and sitting area to screw down the plywood sub floor to the floor joistsThe area included the extension into the sitting room expansion of the master bedroomOnce the floor was secured with over screws into the floor joists, the carpeting was relayedThe areas were tested by both husband and wife along with our crew chief There were no squeaks for a period of monthsThe home was built in and is years old Weather, ground settling, and frozen ground do cause houses to move as well as expand and contractHouses are not engineered to be perfect As evidenced by the original builder and subsequent contractor who built the addition, the floors had always had squeaks in these areas.We added angle brackets to some areas where the floor met the floor joists within the crawlspace to help remedy the workmanship from previous contractors.After visiting with the customer in early December, our crew chief identified an area that may be causing the noise as the joist possibly resting on a support column in within a bulkhead in the basementAs this would be additional work to identify and open up the drywall, secure the joist to the support column or brace and then do a drywall repairThe charge for this would be $155/hour with 20% handling charge on materials we would use.All was confirmed both verbally and in a letter 12/17/to them.Previous work with them includes roof repair, custom skylight replacement, replace additional skylights, and window replacement We have re-caulked windows for them with our annual service inspection at no charge.I am meeting with them on 2/11/at 5:pm to review again.Thanks!Danny P [redacted]
