I went to this business months ago for the "free" consultation to see if a reduction was for me I saw he was ranked top in the country years agoI never provided my primary insurance information, figuring that the reduction was not something I wanted to pursue at the time Two days ago, months later, I received a bill for almost $in the mail They are now saying that the "free" consultation is only for cosmetic and NOT for reductions This was not clear on the internet, in any of the paperwork that I filled out at the time, or in the two messages they left two months after the consultationI have not hear anything from them in around monthIf they would have told me, even once, that I would be charged if I did not provide the information, then I would have followed through before I discontinued insurance and threw away my cardI did not hear from them until two days ago, when I received my first bill in the mail
I feel the public needs to know this business is disorganized and unprofessional There are too many options for cosmetic surgery in Utah to have to deal with this office and its lack of follow throughI feel they have an obligation to be clear with their patients about costsI know nothing of Dr Haupt and his skills, unfortunately his employees are not helping him

Review: On December 18, 2013, I purchased $125 dollars in gift cards from Appalachian Ski Mountain's website to be mailed to my sister in [redacted] as a Christmas gift for her children as payment to attend the snowboard [redacted] ("[redacted]") at Appalachian Ski Mountain ("Appalachian) as advertised on Appalachian Ski Mountain's website. My other sister also purchased gift cards totaling $125 to bring a total purchase of $250 which would be enough for all three children to attend [redacted]. On January 19, 2014, she took the kids to Appalachian Mountain and at check in was told that the [redacted] and Appalachian Ski Mountain were two separate entities and, as such, the gift cards could not be used at [redacted]. There was no (and as of this date is no) information in December 2013 that stated that Appalachian and the [redacted] are two separate entities and that the gift cards are limited in their use to Appalachian exclusively.Further, limitations on the use of gift cards are not listed on the gift card webpage, the gift card checkout page OR on the gift card receipt that is emailed after purchase. Basically, we bought a product to be used to buy a service and the sponsoring company (Appalachian) is refusing to provide that service.I spent a few hours on the phone with representatives with both the [redacted] and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Both sides were apologetic and both admitted that the website did not specify that they are two separate entities and that the gift cards are limited in their use. Specifically, Appalachian admitted that it wasn't clear that they were two separate entities and that the gift cards could not be used to cover the cost of the [redacted].Had we known that Appalachian was engaging in false and unfair advertising, we would have forgone the gift card purchase entirely and dealt with the [redacted].Desired Settlement: To resolve this issue, I would like for the following to happen: 1) update the website immediately and permanently to make it clear that the [redacted] and Appalachian are two separate entities and update the gift card webpage to make clear the fact that the gift cards are limited to specific usage and that lessons are NOT covered by the gift cards, and 2)full refund of the total $125 gift card purchase OR Appalachian to pay that amount to [redacted] for future [redacted] attendance
