The customer contacted Window World on 1/30/17 regarding a leaking window. We asked the customer to furnish the serial number that is on the header of the window and described where to look for it for us to order what would be needed to correct the issue and to call us back.  The customer...

didn't call back right away. I then called the customer on 2/10/17 and left a message. The customer called back on 2/15/17and stated no number could be found. I then pulled the file and figured out which window IG unit would need to be remade. The part was ordered on 2/23/17. The customer was aware that they were being taken care of. I didn't know that they were not happy until I got this Revdex.com email. When I received this I went to the customers house to explain that we had indeed ordered the IG unit and would be installing it when it came in. Upon checking out the window I found the serial number that was needed and that it wasn't a leaking window but a window that had been pressure washed so hard that it had busted the seal. This would void the warranty all together. As a courtesy I told the customer that we would replace the IG unit free of charge even though it would be a chargeable service. The IG unit is expected to arrive 3/28/17. The customer said that they would not be in town until next fall. We all agreed that the unit would be replaced when they got back in the fall.
